The 2nd game has voice acting?Started Octopath Traveller 2 (PC). I bounced off the first game but after the excellent Triangle Strategy, I decided to give OT2 a try. Right off the bat let me say that the music and voice acting is excellent.

Yep. English and Japanese voices. The 2nd game has voice acting?
Am I miss remembering? The first game did not have voice acting correct?Yep. English and Japanese voices.
I loved Journey and FlowerI played through Jusant from start to finish this evening (Game Pass). It reminded me of a rock climbing version of Journey or Flower. If you like climbing segments in games, you'll enjoy this. Fun game, nice looking as well (UE5).
Not sure how well Morrowind and Oblivion hold up now, but wait till you get to Skyrim. Now with the next gen upgrade and added content game is still amazing. So easy to get lost in that world for a couple hundred hours.Juat finished playing Resident Evil 5 and I can't figure out why on the internet this game seems to get a lot of hate. It was awesome. Even playing solo and dealing with the Sheva AI I thought it was great. The AI actually is pretty good, very impressive for the games age. I guess a lot of people just didn't like the turn towards more action and less survival horror
Next up, I have to make an admission: I've never really played an Elder Scrolls game. I played ESO for years but I don't really count that, and I played Skyrim for like 20 mins forever ago. I'm about to fix that though by stating to slowly go through as many as I can. Starting with Morrowind. Really looking forward to this.

That is how I felt about MW2. Now with MW3, it’s not quite the same since it’s more of an open world campaign.Finished the campaign of Call of Duty MW 2 on PS5. I see why people like these games. The campaigns are in your face, unapologetic summer blockbuster type of games. With the right TV and sound system the whole experience is sublime. So I've got Cold War and MW2 under my belt now.
Since I’m on a roll went back to Far Cry 6, might as well play through it now. I had already got off the 1st starter island when it originally hit GP so I’m already running the main game now, I’m having some fun. I don’t mind there not being skills to unlock. You just change your gear depending on what you wanna do.FC6 will be a major disappointment if you enjoyed FC5.
That is where I am headed now too. With MS and Sony committed to PC, I don't see why going PC would be a bad thing. Not to mention, free online vs. paying PS/Xbox online. Not to mention, PC gaming is growing fast.I'm in this weird space right now with my PS5 and Series X.
I've pretty much dropped everything on them and are playing all the available games on my PC. Stopped playing bothe Horizen Forbidden West and GOW: Ragnorok and awaiting their PC versions. Same with anything on Series X. With GamePass, I'm playing their games on PC.
So my PS5 and Series x are bluray players and media hubs. I think if this keeps up, with Sony putting their games on PC eventually and MS putting games on PC gamepass Day 1, this might be my last gen with a console outside of a Nintendo console. Don't really see much point to them right now. Yes there are a few games here and there that are only on console ( read: GTA 6) but for the most part, I think Sony and MS pushed me out of the console space.
Once I really invest time in a game I usually see it through to finish the campaign, but FC6 is really testing me. The graphics and gameplay are great, but the story is boring and it is such a repetitive grind.FC6 will be a major disappointment if you enjoyed FC5.
I’m becoming a much more stingy gamer with my time I’m noticing. I went to play Wolfenstein YB and ran into a situation where I did a couple side quests, died, then lost all my progress. I deleted immediately even though overall I was having a good time.
Same with Dante’s Inferno, which looks way better than expected given how old the game is FYI, but I hit a poorly placed checkpoint and deleted immediately. I was enjoying that game too.
I think I’m fully entering the realm of the casual gamer which is a little scary haha
Yeah, been there for a while. I try many, many games, and want to buy many more. Rarely do I finish them. Takes me being really invested in it. Right now I’m trying to get through Lies of P, Nioh 2, Cyberpunk, and Remnant 2 all at once but find myself logging on, dying a few times and then just giving up to go grind Diablo casually or something.I’m becoming a much more stingy gamer with my time I’m noticing. Haha, yes you described it perfectly!! I’ve got to get back to Cyberpunk, that’s on a long list of games I want to love but not fully clicking with at the momentYeah, been there for a while. Also want to finally get back to BotW and finish it but I sit down at night and it’s just hard even though in the back of my mind I legitimately want to play all of these titles.
Having the attention span of a filthy casual while still having the intellect of a hardcore gamer, sucks man!
I’m digging it so far. Still trying to get back to where I left off in 2020, but it already feels more polished and I’m liking it. It’s also not a mega hard stressful experience like all the other games im playing right now, so it has the best chance of me sticking with it. Let me know how it goes for yaHaha, yes you described it perfectly!! I’ve got to get back to Cyberpunk, that’s on a long list of games I want to love but not fully clicking with at the moment
Intermission complete! These games have been truly magical to play through with awesome graphics, terrific gameplay, and wonderful characters.
