New Halo confirmed for 2014?!?!!

I'd be hugely disappointed if the first big Halo game this gen was a HD remake of Halo 2. Would much rather have a sequel to ODST with a MP beta attached.
Yes i agree with this. There's a lot of talk that Destiny will be something amazing, but i am not yet falling for this hype. I also wasn't falling for the Titanfall hype,but after playing....i wanted to take the game home, lol.
By the way, i don't get some comments here. How it hopefully is Halo 5 and not some card game, or a Anniversary game. E3 2013. They revealed the new Halo with that teaser. Said it was coming in 2014, that it was 60fps, etc. Later they even said it was Halo 5. So.......why would it not be the true Halo 5 this guy is talking about?
I can't wait to see how Master Chief's story progresses from here, especially on a new system with more "horsepower" to pull from.
Wonder if this will be the 1st game to use cloud to its upmost potential as of point of release?
X1 exclusive, not trying to be a jerk, but let the 360 have a card game or a remake. X1 H5 should be exclusive. Just like 3 was for the 360

Destiny is fools gold until proven otherwise. We know what Halo is, which is a AAA franchise through and through. Titanfall has won every GOTS it has been in and won more awards at one E3 show than any game before it so if it isn't AAA, that will be the biggest con by the media in gaming history.
Your concerns are unwarranted. This is the same reveal pattern Microsoft has followed for nearly every Halo game. If the past (Halo 4, Halo Reach, etc.) is indicative of anything, we will see the first screenshots and a preview of the game in GameInformer or some other magazine between March-May, and we will get the first glimpse of gameplay by E3 2014.
The game itself was only announced last e3. There's a lot of time left to show it.
I do not think halo is a series they take chances on, I'm sure they have a schedule and will show it when it's ready. That sort of thing takes a while, gotta devise a demo, dialogue, sound, what to show, what to hold back, make the demo section 100% (though more like 83% due to the nature of bugs) bug free, etc.
I don't rightly understand the commotion in here. It's halo 5, it won't be rough, it'll be halo.

I don't know about Halo for a kart game. If you are going to do a kart game, then maybe use something like Banjo as the backdrop.
Could race warthogs, wraiths, ghosts, etc..
Probably would be horrible yes, but still would like to see it.
MS already has a franchise for that called Joyride. They made Kinect Joyride and Joyride Turbo. Personally, I'd love to see MS expand on that and maybe include xbox franchise characters in the game. Also, if you haven't played Joyride Turbo on the 360, I definitely recommend it.
