Something tells me you haven't been reading threads lately or you just have the green blinders on lolz.

1. We know what Scorpio is going to do. It's a Windows 10 box, more like a PC than a console.
2. "Upscaled 4k" is a lol term. Pro will be doing 4K for some games. PC will always have many advantages over Scorpio and consoles in general. I'm not even a PC gamer and i know that.
3. Gamers will continue to vote with their wallets, like they always have and PlayStation has dominated 2/3 generations since going head to head with Xbox. Expect more of the same.

2. No it isn't. Pro is upscaled 4K. Only games that will push native 4K are indie games. It doesn't have the raw power to do an Uncharted, Gran Turismo, etc at native 4K.
3. It hasn't. It has dominated 1/3...and that was Xbox's debut into the console market. This is gen is not even close to being finished. So not be called either way.

So MS is claiming 4K for its 1st party titles.
Them saying this all but confirms 3rd party parity between the Scorp and the Pro.
Not sure how many 3rd party titles will build around both machines and offer similar res/fps etc but it will happen in some cases

No one is downplaying the Pro. We're potential customers with questions and concerns.

If I get one, I won't be trading in my current PS4 like some will be. I'll be giving it to a nephew. So $399 is a nice chuck of change for double resolution.

I need to see more of the product in the coming months.

If it had 4K Bluray, it would have been a slam dunk decision and an obvious value for me to upgrade.

Even if it wasn't full featured and had all the audio codec's. I don't have a sound system anyway.

Compared to $499 or more on the Scorpio for not much more than what Pro gives you sounds like a hell of a deal to me. Not to mention the games are just better on PS4. The only way i could see Scorpio being a better value is if you watch movies more than you play games.

Statements like these are just beyond ridiculous - even from those who suffer from obvious personality conflictions. You'll get no sympathy from me.

I think we should get the bigger picture from Microsoft before you spout this kind of nonsense. We still dont have an example of what the Scorpio can do, what's under the hood, what games will releases on day one, nor the price. I think you BOTH know this though...

- MP gaming on PS4 requires PS+, last gen MP was free for everyone
- Pushed PS Now streaming, now on PC/Mac
- Blocked EA Access
- No backwards compatibility with PS3 games, UNLESS you do PS Now
- Increased price of PS+ $10 ($20 in Canada)
- Pushed PS Vue cable TV streaming
- Promoted (and failed) that Powers TV show
- Doesn't want to help Beshesda with mod support
- Doesn't want to do cross-platform support with MS
- Promotes having diverse games, yet does big marketing partnership deals with such "diverse and innovative games" like Call of Duty, Destiny and Diablo 3
- This gen's PS+ freebies are worse than last gen. Last gen had many AAA hits as free games, this gen it's mostly indie games
- It's debatable who is ultimately at fault (Sony and/or Sean Murray.... probably a combo at the end of the day), but the whole NMS marketing and PR bullshyt and missing feature set
- Released PS4 Slim, which is uglier, same price and no real benefits over PS4 OG
- About to release PS4 Pro. A proclaimed "4k machine", yet doesn't have a 4k drive, hardly any native 4k games, and the 4k movie streaming push isn't as good as a 4k disc.

I haven't heard anything about a Bloodborne update. I doubt many old games will get it, but Bloodborne is a first party game (or close enough as they worked with From Software). So if any kinds of games out there have a decent chance of an update, Bloodborne should be on the list.

Him and Layton are the worst.

It's funny how even both companies spokesmen have changed. MS had laughstock Mattrick, while Sony had charasmatic guys like Tretton, and goofy fun Boyd (the chubby blonde guy).

Now, MS has Spencer who has a good image, and Sony's key people on stage are suits.
