NFL Season Thread

Miami really blew it.

Good day in Jacksonville. Brad Meester, who has been playing center for the Jaguars for 14 seasons now (back in the old AFC central days!) played his final home game with the team and caught a screen pass for a 9 yard gain and a first down (his first career catch). The team put up a good effort, but the offense went to crap in the second half. Still, seeing a good effort end up with a loss isn't a bad thing with draft position at stake - especially when there were six rookies starting on defense and the wideouts dressed for the game had a cumulative 0 career catches before this season.

Well guess i get to watch my Cowboys get our ass wooped Sunday. With horrible defense and no Romo i do not see us winning. I just hope Jerry makes the right changes in the off season but thats a long shot too :(

it'd been about two decades since Jerry made the right changes. he is almost as worse as Dan Snyder.

Awesome to see my Chargers win although I don't have a lot of faith that they'll get by Denver next week. Hoping SF beats GB again.

I hate to admit that although a die hard Raider fan, I like Phillip Rivers. He's a hell of a player and has the swagger I wish our team had at QB.

I have no problem rooting for him and the Chargers to take down Dr. Egghead.
