I would love for this to not be terrible, but I have zero hype.
The MGS games are massively overrated. Even the criticisms are usually deflected from him and passed onto someone else.
I've said it a thousand times I know but MGS Phantom Pain is the most overrated game I've ever played. Everyone blames Konami but they gave him YEARS and that's all he could come up with. Yeah the rain looked good and the gameplay felt fine but other that I can't really think of anything positive about it.
PT is his best "game" IMO if you have ever played that.
I still remember the runs in the beginning where everyone was scrambling to find out what the game was about since it was unannounced and a Shadow drop . Noone knew how to pass the loops correctly and they were trying to decipher all the Easter eggs plus there were steps you had to take to get to the end cutscene and then it was revealed - a new Silent Hills trailer featuring Norman Reedus and Quentin Tarantino . But is it like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Alan Wake, etc?
3rd person, 1st person, 4th person?
Action based. Puzzle based. Interactive story like Walking Dead or As Dusk Falls?

It was the only game Kojima was behind that I actually liked. The open world made the awful and nonsensical story easier to tolerate. Being able to have the puppy dog and the big boob bimbo as companions made the game more enjoyable for me as well.
So... it's coming to xbox? Prob why gaming media doesn't talk about I guess.
I couldn't finish Death Stranding. One of the most boring game's I've ever played in my life.
The dog/wolf looked good visually, the nude girl was embarrassing IMO. The open world was pointless, there was nothing going on in it. It's cool if you liked it, I hated it lol.
MGS5 was fine until Chapter 2. Also funny they made the big decision to change voice actors only for Snake to be mute in 90% of the cutscenes.
