Outlast is coming to PS4 on Feb 4th. Free for PS+ members.

Confirmed 1080p, 60fps.

Was met with mostly positive reviews when it released on PC last year. Average of 80%. Weaknesses in character modeling and perhaps environments, with strengths in terms of horror elements.

The main character has no combat abilities, aside from being able to push others away during certain scripted sequences. You are mostly just trying to escape a rather poorly run psychiatric hospital.

Downloading it for sure. Going to play on the insane difficulty for the trophy... wish me luck.
 
I have it on PC. But I have PS+ so I'll check out that version too.

It's a creepy cool little game.
 
I can't wait played a little on PC and it is very freaky and atmospheric.
 
I will download it, but likely end up soiling my pantaloons while playing the first 20 minutes of the game, and will never play it again.

I was looking for this game today, bummed it is not out until Tuesday. Looks like a real spine-tingler though I could do without the manass. :O
 
Glad the 1.6 update enabling Pulse headsets comes out tonight so I can use them to play this.:)
 
Did I read right that there is no combat in this at all? I was thinking it would be like Condemned, but seems like you will b even more helpless.

Yup, no weapons... no way of defending yourself. We can only run. :crazy:

As tempting as it is to want pick up an iron pipe and knock a creep out in the game, the game works as it is.

I had reservations about buying the game based on the no combat, But it is is fun.
 
Couldn't finish it on PC. Not that i didn't like the game or anything but I'd like to have any means of defending myself lol. Great game. Maybe I'll go through it on the PS4.
 
I don't see it at all yet.

Never mind. It's buried in the New this Month banner. Yeah it says $19.99.

Hm, try going in from a different way. I google search "us playstation" first. Sign in there, go to explore on top left, go to Store, sign in there, then add whatever to basket.
