^ That's just cold, man. Give it a few months at least before rolling out with the funny gifs.

I liked this guy. It's always sad when a life ends too soon. R.I.P

Way too soon.

There are pictures of the wreckage from another angle and you can still see a burnt leg on the clutch. Sad sad sad.

Probably too soon..

But he basically made a living creating films that encouraged degenerate reckless driving.. really couldn't glorify being a reckless twatflap any more than Fast and Furious.

When I see that GIF I don't see a funny joke, I see a reason why these films should never have existed.

Also, as a general observation, I don't understand why rich people with expensive sports cars like this feel the need to drive reckless on public roads, when access to a closed road course should be easily available. Sure there is a chance of crashing, but there isn't going to be trees or poles to wrap yourself around.
Exactly.

Normally I don't like mourning celebrities but given the fact this isn't a drug related death the best I can say is RIP.

Awful news. I couldn't believe it when i heard it. I feel like a part of my childhood died. Loved the early Fast and the Furious movies growing up.

By the looks of the crash, the car was travelling way too fast. Although for sports cars, aren't they typically poor when it comes to crashes and wreckage..... (they get mangled up easily?)

I'm furious at how fast people are to make jokes about dead celebrities.

TMZ confirmed Paul Walker's case of dandruff when they found his Head and Shoulders on the dashboard.

I heard the day before or a few days before there was a hoax that he died.and then this happened

I think the idea of a movie star who did movies about fast cars actually dying in a fast car accident caused peoples irony meters to overload.

I will miss him because I always enjoyed the heist movies he did.

Also, he was so young...

The exotic sports car in which Paul Walker violently died, crashed as a result of mechanical failure -- very possibly a steering fluid leak ... this according to sources closely tied to the auto shop where the vehicle was stored and maintained.

Sources connected to Always Evolving -- the shop co-owned by Walker and the Porsche driver Roger Rodas -- tell TMZ they saw evidence of a fluid burst and subsequent fluid trail before the skid marks at the accident scene.

The AE sources point to the fact there is a noticeable absence of skid marks until just before the point of impact. They say if Roger had lost control the skid marks would show swerving, but instead the marks were in a straight line. They feel this cements the theory the driver didn't have steering control.

Also suspicious -- the fire spreading so quickly in the front of the car. The sources say flames would be expected in the rear where the engine is ... but fire in the front reinforces their theory of a fluid leak of some sort.

We're told the $500,000 Carrera GT was NOT modified and was driven rarely so they believe any failure must be a factory defect.

As one source put it ... "Roger was a world class driver" -- and while he might have been speeding (as cops have said) ... the notion he just lost control is preposterous.

Perhaps that's how it works with a quick loss. Driven cars that were out of fluid though and it generally only affects the ability to turn the wheel when stopped or parking or something.
