TLOU Remake is a GOTY contender? Please.
Racers/simulators shouldn't be nominated for GOTY.
Great games are great games.
Simulators and rehashes are simulators and rehashes.
Desperate is Desperate.
It doesn't deserve it.It's done it once, not hard to believe it can do it again
Yeah I don't think remakes should be allowed for GOTY or story since they've already had a chance to win various industry awards (which this title did) when they were originally released (although Keighly's show wasn't a thing at the time) I can see nominating it for something like best graphics or sound design something like that (if those are even categories) because that stuff will be new but GOTY? no leave that to 100% new titles.

If GoW is even close to as good as 2018 it'll be my GOTY for sure, I think Horizon was a big letdown with the story/main character, Elden Ring is fine but I don't think deserving of the title and TLOU shouldn't be allowed to be nominated because it's a remake. Yeah the first one came out in 2013 and the first true game awards show we got was a year later but still I don't think remakes should be considered for GOTY.

Ah yes Forza Horizon is so realistic. Now if you excuse me I'm meeting up with some mates today to race a jet in a beach buggy.
No consumer priced simulation is completely realistic.

List the racing games that have won GOTY as in OVERALL THE MOST GOTY AWARDS I'll wait....
So now it's how many racing games have won GOTY rather than shouldn't win it.... oh and not just won so many times they have to win the most that year?

We know racing games including the high rated rehashed series never accomplished this.

GOTY's has always been based on a combination of popularity and gaming critics scores IMO. Forza scored well but racing games for some reason never win because it's not for everybody?
