I'm coming out of a base/plaform and you have to take one of the spark plug looking thingies and put it in another tower or something. They are sending waves of enemies and two of the big ass mechanical spider looking machines.

I know I have to target the mechanical spiders so that I get aerial support. But I'm just getting overwhelmed by enemy soldiers.

If I remember correctly, you can shoot one of the container things and if you time it right, you can drop it and kill one of the spider drones.

The other spider drone, I just used EMP grenades to stop it, kill the other guards, then just keep shooting it until it dies.

Is it the part where you need to press the elevator button to move on? I think you can just try to make a run for that as soon as the squad leaves the elevator and just attempt to press the elevator button quickly.

Still figuring out the PS4. Not sure why they don't tell you that your game isn't still downloading, LOL! I mean it says it in the notifications that it was installed so I thought it was done. Then I try to play it (NBA 2K14) and can only play a quick game. Was like, WTH?. Then I go to the storage area and find out it is still downloading, LOL! Nice system overall, but stuff like that is irritating. Plus BF4 crashes all the time. Already had to delete and reload once. Heard this was not a PS4 problem though. It is a DICE/EA issue. How DICE could fail this hard is beyond me? Also figured out that you need to let your game download all the way before you actually play them, otherwise your progress is not saved. Some issues Sony needs to iron out with patch work in the future for sure.
 
Is there anyway to drop the pistol in Killzone?

I keep trying to upgrade my secondary weapon. But when I equip my pistol to replace it with a new weapon lying on the ground, it always picks the other weapon that I still want, and the pistol is still there.

Welcome to the next gen! I got the notification while playing Forza that AC IV was ready, went into it, and sure enough I got the main menu but I can't play single player yet (53%) and the multiplayer is downloading too. But I can see the menu! Hopefully the developers/publishers can get it situated so that when a game is ready to play, you can actually play it - and then let the rest download in the background. Perhaps an option to pick what to prioritize would be nice too.

Don't think so. I couldn't drop mine either.

On another note, has anyone played Lego Marvel Super Heroes? I'm contemplating on getting it but not sure if it's worth it.

I have it and I really enjoyed it, if you have had fun with any of the lego games before you'll like this one.

Been playing it its fun but I got it during TRUs buy one get one 40% off sale. I wouldn't pay $60 for it.

Is this SP or MP? Pretty sure in SP I had two main weapons.

Thanks for the feedbacks. I'll prob be getting it (either through trade or selling one of my games to get it) since I've beaten all the other retail games that I was interested in and I only have NBA 2K14 left to grind through, haha.
 
btw I posted this in the other thread, but if you are still looking for a ps4 try walmart, they have them all day long were I live. I could only show 3 stores in stock in the below window but there are like 5 in row and they've had them.

Rumor ā€“ Approx 1.8M users in Gamestop PS4 waiting list

A poster on Beyond3D forum (one of the most important forums dedicated to tech talk on technology and videogames) shared some interesting data on retail figures. First of all, thereā€™s the stunning number of 1.8 million customers in the current wait/notify list of Gamestop for a PlayStation 4, while Xbox One is measured at 400K.

Hereā€™s some more interesting data regarding the actual sales in North America during the launch period. Supposedly, PlayStation 4 placed 456K units between Gamestop and BestBuy, while Xbox One placed 232K units. Also, the rumor which claimed Xbox One to have beaten PlayStation 4 in Black Friday sales (again, for Gamestop and BestBuy) is confirmed by the poster, but only because most of these stores had more available Xbox One units to sell in that period.

If that is actually true, then that's great news.

Love my PS4 right now, haven't been here so much because I'm playing KZ on PS4 and BF4 on PC.

Also what I am about to say works the same for XB1's.

This means at some point people put their names down for various reasons. Anyone who has worked at or knows how GS works knows your name can end up on that list even if you don't want it there.

1. People who generally want a system and plan on buying it will put their name on the list.

2. People who want to buy the system, who don't have the money, but do it because of impulse or the hope to having the money.

3. GameStop is told by upper management to get these lists filled. People who have no intentions of buying the system will be asked over and over until they put their name down.

4. GameStop just padding the sheet to get it filled.

Also don't confuse this with a pre order. This is a list that tells GameStop you are interested in the system and to call you when there are systems available. This isn't 1.8 guaranteed sales and to be honest some of the people most like already got the system from another retailer.

In the Killzone single player you can indeed drop the pistol. You can't drop the main weapon (Spoor) but you can get a different secondary. In multiplayer you can only rotate your primary weapon.
 
That 1.52 update did nothing to fix my stability issues, and Sony is still forcing us to use their Music Unlimited service. I bet the 1.52 was just a security patch as the Internet has been saying.

Not really, there aren't any games out that would really appeal to the Japanese market that I'm aware of. Not only that but it's not like MS has a shot in hell in Japan so why bother releasing there now?

^sony launched the first three ps consoles first of all in japan, this time somehow home country is not a priority, even small countries are getting the nod first. ms also doesn't have a shot in hell in certain countries that sony's been fulfilling lately, so i don't see how that logic could apply. and far as demand goes, i do think there is demand among jp gamers for games like resogun and war thunder, but they'll have to wait until next year.
 
Part of it may have been they wanted to focus on the Vita TV launch? Which didn't go over too well, but I think they had hopes and wanted to push it.

This is Shiro Kawauchi, the head of Sony Computer Entertainment Korea. Speaking in his native Japanese and getting choked up in the process, Kawauchi talks about how PlayStation fans have been waiting days for the PS4 launch event and recalls meeting gamers throughout the country. It all appears very inspiring!

"I truly thank you for coming out today in this cold weather," said Kawauchi. Then, in Korean, Kawauchi added, "I love you all. Please show your love for PlayStation 4 as well. Thank you!"

It feels like there's so much more at play here. Relations between South Korea and Japan have soured, and this is a country where PC gaming rules and consoles don't. Here, a Japanese Sony employee appears genuinely moved by Korean PlayStation fansā€”something that's so evident even if you don't speak either language.

This is one of those moments when you say, aren't video games wonderful? Yes, yes they are.
