The comparison is dumb very dumb period.

It's like saying xsx will have RROD like the Xbox 360 did.

I'm glad you're an insider and know everything there is to know. All I've said is that I'm not gonna be a sucker next gen and buy a new console on day 1 and take a chance on unproven hardware. Remember how everyone upgrading from launch PS4 consoles were bragging how much quieter the Pro was? Mine was until using it for a few years and now it makes my launch console seem quiet by comparison. On top of that, the launch games shown are a joke.

He's one of a kind, that's for sure.
He needs to get over whatever his problem is. Maybe counseling...

I'm the insider but a dumbass PS4 to PS5 comparison keeps being made?

I don't recall pro owners bragging about it having a quieter fan????

Most impressions of the PS5 possible launch games is good.
Xsx not so much but you are entitled to your opinion.

Must be the wecrave buddy saying something about me cause I can't see it.
He just can't help himself must be a homosexual attraction to me or a strong hatred. Sad he is either way.

Cerny already said they could have done a better job when it comes to the fan noise on PS4, when it comes to the PS5 they've already talked about cooling being better.

"We built a GPU with 36CUs. Mind you, RDNA 2 CUs are large. Each has 62% more transistors than the CUs we were using on PlayStation 4. So if we compare transistor counts, 36 RDNA CUs equates to roughly 58 PS4 CUs. It is a fairly sizable GPU."

Then we went with a variable frequency strategy with PlayStation 5. Which is to say we continuously run the GPU and CPU in boost mode. We supply a generous amount of electrical power, and then increase the frequency of GPU and CPU until they reach the capabilities of the system's cooling solution.

"It's a completely different paradigm. Rather than running constant frequency, and letting power vary based on the workload, we run at essentially constant power and let the frequency vary based on the workload."

"We then tackled the engineering challenge of a cost-effective and high-performance cooling solution designed for that specific power level. In some ways, it becomes a more simple problem because there are no more unknowns. There's no need to guess what the power consumption in a worst-case game might have.

I wouldn't expect PS fans to say any different. Just like Xbox fans like the XSX possible launch games better.

Thank you! Although I should of put 2 and 2 together and figured a brand new cooling system would equal minimal noise, also good to know they based the system around it running at the highest speeds.

It's even easier to fully optimize 16 CU at 2500, or 1 at 2800. GPU tasks are already massively parallelized and the difference between 36 and 52 isn't exactly. Basically Cerny is bragging that their pipeline is less powerful and therefore is easier to fill - which makes no sense as no game that I'm aware of ever had designers begging for less GPU power so that they could saturate it 100% more easily. But maybe Big Navi will be a 12 CU 3000 clock monster...🤡

Agreed, that was beyond a hilarious statement.

You're not going to be able to read this, but lol
Did you just try to insult me by calling me gay? 🤣

I never believed the rumors in the first place related to these resolutions and framerates as the PS5 was already said to hit frames at this level and higher by the actual developers. But It seems the real insiders have gotten fed up and are now bringing that fight to these perpetrators.

Why would anyone doubt it? It doesn't look like it shouldn't be 4k/60 on a 10TF machine, lol. It's hardly a mind blowing game visually.

Man, I hope so. When I play Ghost of Tsushima, I think my PS4 is going to leave orbit, lol. I really hate having to turn my sound way up in order to cover it. I honestly didn't even think Sound would be an issue for until I gave my PS4 some love for a while. It really is distracting.

d00d it's one of the best looking next gen games that's been shown.
I cant agree. It's cloaked in darkness, shadow, and super tight corridors so far. just look at the enemy model at 59 sec

and the weapon models. It ain't that great, bro. It's being made by like 2 guys or something, right? No shade from me, I respect it, but it's a looonng way from being one of the best looking games, imo.

Alien isolation looks better... on switch.

This isn't a clip of Halo Infinite.

The point is more about people spreading BS about PS5 just to distract from the constant negative attention Xbox has been getting from their own showings. This game is 4K/60 with RT and as you said is being made by a couple of people it's not going to be a visual showcase but the fact that some a****** tried to claim they were having trouble getting it to run at 4K only to have the dev reply and correct them was great.

Sometimes I wonder what you are looking at. The asset quality in Halo stomps the assets in QE. Understandable for team size, but that doesn't change the fact that you have a weird way of interpreting what you are seeing. But hey, I guess if we just hide everything in shadows that makes it better.

You gotta be joking.

Oh wait you don't think it looks like a 360 game like everyone else including MS.

No, I'm just not a blind fool. MS doesn't think it looks like a 360 game. The fact that you do makes your opinion on game visuals completely unreliable.

Edit: and no, not everyone thinks that. Loud internet voices do. They objectively do not look like that.
