I'm sure both next gen consoles will have these features.

i think Xbox is getting the new WiFi but not support Bluetooth, still :( but it would be cool if it does. With them touting accessibility, especially with the own titles “accessibility controller” that they’d allow that because it would help reduce so many wires.

I think that I registered for a change to pre-order the PS5. I went through the steps and then it just kind of went to a return to the main page link. No real confirmation at all.

It's a shame I missed out on the bulk of the Ratchet and Clank series but I did just beat the PS4 reboot a couple of days ago and I had a absolute blast. I have PS Now so I'm probably going to check out Into the Nexus since it is tied to A Rift Apart.

Yeah the remake was the first one I ever played and I loved it, I played through it more than once in a short period of time. I am excited for this game and being that it's "launch window" we probably won't have to wait any later than March to get it.

Yeah I got the email from them yesterday and signed up but they didn't send any kind of confirmation either.

Brazilian site Tecnoblog unearthed the PS5’s wireless specifications, which you can see below. There are two very big upgrades here. The first is that the system will have the most up-to-date to date WiFi version, which is WiFi 6. It offers a maximum download speed of 9.6gbps. To compare, the original PS4’s maximum speed was 300mbps, while the fifth generation PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro chips were a maximum of 3.5gbps. That’s, of course, maximum download based on theoretical circumstances, but in general, it should still boost the speeds by some degree.

The other thing is Bluetooth. The PS5 will be almost entirely up-to-date with Bluetooth 5.1 (5.2 just came out, so they missed the most recent version by just a tad). The original PS4 shipped with only version 2.1 and the PS4 Pro had Bluetooth 4.0. Hopefully, that will lead to more Bluetooth devices being compatible with the system than ever before.

I understand. Also, what frame rates and resolutions are supported?

Increasing the beauty of the microphone image reduces the frame rate, which is a difficult balance to achieve in any game. In this game, we've focused on balancing the comfort of the action with beautiful graphics while allowing players to choose between two different resolutions and frame rates. One is a 4K resolution at 30FPS, and the other is a lower resolution at 60FPS. We're planning to offer either of these two options.

Is***ate-I'd like to add that in Ratchet & Clank, starting in the latter half of the PS3 era, we've chosen to ditch the 60FPS of the PS2 era for 30FPS in order to make the graphics more beautiful, and the actual gameplay has been made at 30FPS. This time around, players can choose whether to go the 60FPS route of the PS2 era or the high resolution & 30FPS route of the PS3 and beyond.

could care less if it gets a bump in power, that bump in storage space thou, that’d be great

I'm not worried about storage space, they couldn't put an SSD big enough in the machine for all of the games I own so I'm going to need an external one either way. As it stands now I have a 2TB external SSD hooked up to my Pro and the majority of my games aren't on it because they won't fit, I have around 46 games or so on it, the actual available storage was 1.89TB. I would guess as long as game sizes aren't too much bigger most people will be able to fit 15 games or so on the included internal SSD and most people aren't going to be actively playing that many different games in the same time frame.

have they said anything if external storage will be compatible with the ps5? I don’t want to wait years again.

I do hope they release a list of compatible nvme storage and make it easy to know if newly released ones will work with the ps5
