Considering who they supported talking the role of Robert Langdon, I hope they burn in hell.they should just sell their film division already, stick to just supplying the tools (cameras, speakers, headsets, etc) for artist and make PlayStation their primary focus...besides spiderman into the spiderverse has their been any memorable and at least good film produced in the last decade?

Cool, thanks! I was driving down the interstate just now to go to Best Buy, and read this post, and turned around. If it matters, I was at best buy today and none were on the shelf yet. At least we now know they weren't released yet. You're welcome.
It matters.
XSX has not only more storage but a extra storage option.Just about everyone on this site is probably going to need external storage for either console, 1TB wouldn't be enough even if they had been able to hit that mark. I am sure you have an external SSD, you'll be able to fit plenty of games to on the internal SSD in the PS5, unless games double in size you are probably going to get a good 15 games on the internal storage at one time, just put everything else on the external drive and move it over if you want to play it. Like I said before I have over 46 games loaded on my external 2TB SSD and that still leaves a ton of games I own not downloaded because I couldn't afford and SSD big enough to fit everything I have purchased over the years, hell I don't know if they make SSD's that big.
Personally I'd take the benefits of the SSD they've designed with smaller storage over something much larger with no customizations. Before anyone gets defensive I'm not talking about the Series X, that SSD isn't big enough for most people either and they have done some customizations with it. I'm talking in general about people who wanted 2TB SSD's or larger in these machines.

I will need space asap.If you are talking about the external SSD, i would wait on the price first. History has shown that anything proprietary significantly increases the cost. The detachable HDD in the Xbox 360 is proof of this just as much as the memory sticks in the PS1, PS2, PSP UMD disc, Nintendo's cartridges, etc..
This isn’t an option I care about, but in case some people do:
f*** the feeI never expected the PS5 to have BC between the PS1, PS2 and PS3. Based on Sony's patent, this can only be achieved via cloud servers. So if Sony decides to use that patent, you will be paying a small fee to have access to this catelog.
I will need space asap.
Sony needs to have it's solution ready by launch as it seems MS will.
Less than 800gb isn't going to be close to enough.
f*** the fee
But the shelves are clear. For both consoles. If it matters, I was at best buy today and none were on the shelf yet. At least we now know they weren't released yet. You're welcome.
That may be true, but if you are looking for an SSD for that solution, i assure you you're going to be paying a bit no matter who you decide to go with, but I'm almost certain a proprietary version will be more expensive than an off the shelf SSD.
You are welcome too.But the shelves are clear. For both consoles.

??????? Has is it nominal? The "more storage" is pretty nominal, it's not going to make a big difference. As far as external options yeah you buy an external proprietary SSD that will probably be pretty pricey. Sony has an external option too, use an external HDD or SSD for storage, you can play BC PS4 games directly from that OR transfer them to the internal storage where they'll benefit from the faster SSD. Obviously PS5 games have to be played off of the internal storage but I'm sure you can still store them on the external drive and just transfer them back and forth.
??????? Has is it nominal?
More storage is a must and you don't want to delete and install over and over as it kills the life of a SSD.
They've already talked about the downloading/deleting stuff from the SSD, you won't be doing that anywhere near as much on your console as you would on a PC even if you add/remove games on a semi regular basis. Again how often in a real world situation do you see yourself needing more than 15 games ready to go at once?
As far as what I was saying was nominal I meant that Series X isn't going to have that much more available storage than the PS5, probably like 3 or 4 games worth. The bottom line is you and I both know you would never get enough storage in either of these consoles because they are using SSD's and 1TB is the max that they could put in and still keep it at a price people would be wiling to pay. I'd much rather have the extra performance that Sony has baked into their SSD than get something significantly slower that has room for a few more games. We both own a lot of games, there is no way around the fact that we are going to need external storage no matter which console we choose.
3 or 4 more games is pretty significant, but I doubt 1tb will be enough for a lot of people and there'll be a lot of moving and deleting and what not with both consoles.
Remember we're making a huge step in terms of HDD speed this gen, we're gonna love near instant load times from both consoles. I'd love to see a side by side comparison just to see how big a difference the raw bandwidth speed is going to be, but Xbox apparently has some software to try and close that gap, I guess time will tell the difference in the console and their strengths (just bloody show us already)!!
Did you post your source where you heard about the OS using 2 GB of ram or is it just a rumour?
Are we not to discuss any rumours anymore about the consoles or games? The rumours have come from Playstation fans on Twitter. The sources are linked in the video.
No one saying it’s true or verified, just a rumour like the rumour you heard about the OS requiring 2 GB of ram? Are only rumours allowed to be discussed that you like?
I agree. I even think less than 2TB is a joke IMO. But then again, I know how expensive these new SSDs are, so 2TB would be a pipe dream.Less than 1TB of storage is a joke in this day and age.
