NBA 2K21's PS5 Load Time is Incredibly Fast

After a loading screen with a countdown pops up, Thomas confirms that it will take just two seconds for NBA 2K21 to load on the new console. This seems to be the time it would take from selecting the game to getting into the first menu and not the time it takes to get between the different NBA 2K21modes.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits Takes About Two Seconds to Load From the PlayStation 5’s Menu

Action-adventure game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, takes “about two seconds” to load from the PlayStation 5‘s menu. For its latest cover story, Game Informer magazine’s team watched Ember Lab boot Kena up, and noted that it showcased the speed of the console’s solid-state drive.

Godfall Is looking good. Nice launch type game. I hope there’s some exploration and not just one room connected to the next.

No noticeable fan noise on PS5 at all, console remained cold after 80 minutes of gameplay

From here, I would like to pick up some points of concern other than the functional aspects of PS5.

This time, what was more shocking than "reading" was "quietness of the fans". There must have been many people who were interested in this. It was really quiet !!

It was about 1 hour and 45 minutes, and I think it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to actually start the PS5. Since the site was a studio, there were few things around, but the room temperature felt quite hot due to the lighting. I was playing "ASTRO's PLAYROOM" and "Godfall" and didn't notice the sound of the fans (exhaust heat). Rather, when I was about to finish the gameplay, I hurriedly confirmed, "Are you a fan?"

Looking at the 8K source, you can see that the same design as the main body is used only for the handle part. To explain the details, the hole to the right of the SONY logo is the reset port, and the bottom is the sub microphone.

Famitsu has also tested the respawn times for games like Astro’s Playroom and Godfall. In their video, there was barely any loading despite multiple deaths and the player respawned almost immediately. Godfall comes closer to 2 seconds of load time while Astro’s Playroom is near-instant.

Agreed, except for this

It's a looting game so of course it's online only, that stuff has to be done on the server, I think people probably got confused because they think that's only if it's some kind of mmo style shooter but in reality this is somewhat like destiny without all of the other players running around on screen, they are still handling a bunch of stuff on the server.

Honestly I don't think many people are going to buy that game, it'll probably end up being a free offering on PS+ within a year, there just isn't anything special about it and it screams launch filler.

Astro's playroom looks super easy and mindless. But I'm a sucker for this type of game.

It's also free so if someone doesn't like it they can just delete it, supposedly it has over 5 hours of gameplay too.. The animations make those robot characters have some personality so that looks like it'll add a bit to the presentation as well. Just keep your nieces and nephews away from your new consoles when you get them or at the very least put some kind of tarp over them just in case :)

Make the white parts black and make the transparent buttons smoky gray and it would look great.

I agree. I have no interest in Godfall unfortunately.
