Same as the way it's made...it could very well break the triggers.
Yeah, those gears in the triggers scare me, but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone goes out and makes them out of metal. I turned off the mic too, I forget what it’d interfere with but I still don’t want them listening lol don’t get me wrong, the tech is really neat for the rumble motors, I wanna see someone break that down. The engineering for the gear fitting is really clever too.

Val posted a video of Xbox Series X's 3d audio in that section of the forum. And made me think about Sony's Tempest audio or whatever.

How is PS5's 3D audio?

Tough to tell. I can’t really tell a difference out of my sound bar bu I’m not sure if that feature set is released yet. I was slightly tempted by purchasing the PS5 official headset where it’s fully implemented and that sounds like it is on a game by game basis. So Miles Morales plus PS5 headset will fully feature 3D audio.

Well, then I hope Sony fan-bois don't cry when Bethesda Games don't make it over to Playstation or only after a long exclusivity timeframe. It can't be ok for one platform-holder to do it and not for the other.

THIS IS WAR.

I have my doubts that this game ever actually gets released but if so it's not an established franchise that was always multiplatform and then yanked away, that being said I don't think Sony should be buying 3rd party exclusivity deals like this, it doesn't bother me if people get to play it on xbox at the same time that I do on playstation.

I checked the app one earlier and it said Add to cart but when I clicked on it I got the error that it had sold out and more stock would be added. Didn't try again to see if that was the case.

Sony Acquires Anime Streaming Service Crunchyroll For A Hefty Sum

Sony has had its eye on anime streaming service Crunchyroll for some time, and was set to spend a whole load of cash to get the service. Now, it's official, and Crunchyroll is a Sony brand, acquired from WarnerMedia for the price of $1.175 billion.

"The Crunchyroll team has done an extraordinary job of not only growing the Crunchyroll brand but also building a passionate community of anime fans. Crunchyroll’s success is a direct result of the company’s culture and commitment to their fans," said WarnerMedia's Chief Revenue Officer, Tony Goncalves, in an official statement.

Sounds like something for PS Now.

Is your PS5 running hot?
Mine runs loud with the Cyberpunk disk inside lol but it whines down after a while, it’s almost as loud as my old “day one” ps4...does get warmer than my xsx, but I have yet to try cyberpunk on there, shoot I haven’t even tried any disc base games on it yet either lol might be just as loud >.<

Is your PS5 running hot?

i can’t say hot but it’s certainly not whisper quiet. Somewhat interestingly when it’s sitting idle and doing nothing the fans will come on occasionally. With the variable clocks based on load I thought that would not happen.

Did anyone ever find out on how to determine what fan of the the one would have in their ps5?

Bloomberg or Sony fanboys? I will take Bloomberg which also reported on PS5 running super hot hence it’s huge design.
It's huge design keeps it running very cool and quiet, they made it sound like it was overheating like crazy when it was just early dev kits and that is a typical problem to have.

The PS5 is whisper quiet by and large, do some people have units that can be a little louder than others? sure but mine doesn't make a sound even 2 hours after playing Demon's Souls and most tests I've seen online show it at the same level as the Series X when it comes to noise and it runs cooler.

First Xbox One was legitimately whisper quiet. I had to put my ear next to it just for a hint of sound. Xbox One X was held up similarly but in my experience wasn’t. Quiet yes....but not whisper with audible fans. PS5 and One X sound about the same to me. I didn’t have Ps4\pro so jet engines adjectives if true might skew what people consider as whisper.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla's New Patch Includes Adaptive Trigger Support on PS5

Assassin's Creed Valhalla's latest update — patch 1.010 — comes packing a hidden feature on PS5. Ubisoft has actually added support for the DualSense controller's adaptive triggers, which comes into play when you're using Eivor's bow.

It's basically what you'd expect. R2 tightens as Eivor pulls the bowstring back, and it has a noticeable point of resistance. It also feels different depending on the type of bow that you're using — hunter, light, or predator. Light bows, for example, fire off extremely easily compared to the longer draw of a hunter bow, based on the pressure that you have to apply to the trigger.

Low chip yield? they had more ready at launch than PS4 and have resupplied faster so how low is the chip yield? seems like their reporting has been suspect on the PS5 from the start.

PS4 had still sold like 50x or more what PS5 has, yield issues am comferm. /S.

They'll be proven right I'm sure, just wait until they release the KRAKEN!

Jim Ryan Explains How The PS5 Game Price Plan Work

"No, we just set out to make the games as best we can. And once the games are made, then we’ll consider what the right price to sell them at is. We don’t start out with a price in mind, and then tailor the game to the price point. At launch, we do have a range of prices. And that will rightly and properly continue as we progress through the cycle.

I think you’re actually going to see some interesting variations from Worldwide Studios over the course of this cycle. With the PS4, we saw Uncharted: Lost Legacy, for example, published in the middle of the cycle, and that worked really well at that point in time. That model can work really well. And our studios are working on all sorts of things right now."

This is quite interesting. Destruction All Star, Miles Morales, Astro's Playroom sounds about like what he was talking about. I don't mind a slightly short game so long as it has replay value or some kind of an online mode. I think this is an excellent strategy as it will fill a lot of voids inbetween.

I do not know but was so was somewhat curious based on my experience. Is there a particular one that has a better fan? Mine seems fine but when it turns on it’s not whisper. More like a house fan turned on medium.

I guess flexibility in terms of pricing is encouraging.
To many millions of people, 400 dollars as an entry point and price to attain Sony’s best ps5 game, with the highest console to game ratio not seen since the wii is astros playroom, some people have gone above and beyond just double dipping on that game *avoids contact from those in this room*

Fans on most electronics are variable based on heat, so that would explain why people have different results. My work laptop is quiet until I get too much clutter around it, then it starts whining like a vacuum cleaner until it cools down.

People have to get past this idea that "fan noise is bad". The fan is working to keep the electronic device cool. If the thing gets too hot, it will eventually get very, very quiet when it stops working completely.
