And I'm sure Xbox Series X players feel the same.
A lot of it may be in reaction to the broken street date and accidental sent bundles, maybe?i hate how much stuff is out there about God Of War and we till have to wait 5 days...

As expected by multiple analysts and Sony.
What country is that?Funny how the only example given was for a country that didn't get a price hike. That isn't suspicious at all.
Being that it outsold the two xbox series consoles in the UK in October which were said to have done well on their own it's really not suspicious, they only brought up that 100k in 17.5 hours number because it's huge and highlights how in demand the product still is. You probably wouldn't see a number like that in any other single country no matter how in demand it is.Funny how the only example given was for a country that didn't get a price hike. It is because they still didn't give any example of what they claimed and instead highlighted a market that didn't receive a price hike. There is no spinning this. It isn't like it is hard for them to show what they claim.Being that it outsold the two xbox series consoles in the UK in October which were said to have done well on their own it's really not suspicious, they only brought up that 100k in 17.5 hours number because it's huge and highlights how in demand the product still is. And that doesn't change anything. All this trying to spin and for what?UK and Japan numbers show that they are still selling strong. In Japan, PS5 recently outsold Switch selling the highest it's ever been with the restock game being strong there. There was a huge lineup for a lottery of just 2000 units. UK they came out #1 in October even when XS had a huge month. Haven't taken a look at other markets yet.
Sony are a bunch of liars….And that doesn't change anything. All this trying to spin and for what?
They literally boasted that a price increase didn't hurt them and yet didn't provide any proof of that. Why? There is literally no reason not to show it if that was the case. I'm not even saying the price increase did hurt them either. Not even saying they aren't being truthful. I'm just saying that a boast like that not getting backed up with tangible numbers is suspicious.
It is funny how nobody here posted that UK PS5 sales are actually down from last year despite the supposed better stock levels this year.Sony are a bunch of liars….
I just did in the numbers threadIt is funny how nobody here posted that UK PS5 sales are actually down from last year despite the supposed better stock levels this year.

Which market didn't receive a price hike?It is because they still didn't give any example of what they claimed and instead highlighted a market that didn't receive a price hike. There is no spinning this. It isn't like it is hard for them to show what they claim.
I already know this. Doesn't change anything. They are saving 3.2-3.3 million of their stock produced this quarter in preparation for the Holidays, they have stated this in their recent Earnings. They basically shipped only half of what they produced to save some for GoW push.
"About the hardware, I can't give specific unit numbers but as I mentioned in my speech, the second quarter production reached 6.5 million already and we want to use this as supply for year-end sales. I think there's a lot of expectation here," Sony Chief Financial Officer Hiroki Totoki said in a recent Q2 2022 earnings call.
"And the PlayStation 5 price increase impact; So far, due to the price increase, we have not seen any dampening of the demand but we have to monitor what will happen in the market going forward."

I already know this. Doesn't change anything.
Which makes no difference. It does. 13.4 million last year around this time and that was including the big launch push numbers in 2020. Now at 25 million shipped while witholding 3.3 million which would have made it up to 28 million. So they produced more but just reserving them.
Well actually they been forcing people to buy Bundles in NA.Merica.
Which makes no difference.
And in the middle of all these over the place numbers they made their boast and didn't back it up.
My original comment is valid, and you guys made it in to big deal out of some illogical need to defend a comment you can't actually defend.
Not the same thing.Well actually they been forcing people to buy Bundles in NA.
I have some friends who don't like Horizon and were forced to buy it with the PS5.
Right because the forced bundles cost more. Not the same thing.
If you listen to the actual call and not just read a poorly written article, you'll see that they never once said that the average of 100k units being sold in 17.5 hours has anything to do with any other markets they were just talking about how demand is still high. The price hikes weren't even mentioned anywhere near that part of the call.It is because they still didn't give any example of what they claimed and instead highlighted a market that didn't receive a price hike. There is no spinning this. It isn't like it is hard for them to show what they claim.
Dude, it is irrelevant. They still said what they said and didn't back it up. That is the point. Hence suspicious. If you listen to the actual call and not just read a poorly written article, you'll see that they never once said that the average of 100k units being sold in 17.5 hours has anything to do with any other markets they were just talking about how demand is still high.
