This summer? I'll check it out. Curious if they are sticking with the sim route or going more sim-cade? I would be disappointed if they toned down the realism, as that's what made their game special.

Gargage. Too arcadey. Turned their great career mode in to a garbage one. Gameplay looks like GriD 3 rather than PC3.

If the Corvette is their cover car, I guess that means Forza won't have it as their cover car :txbmad:

I was going to say, just because they made a trailer like a bad Fast and Furious movie doesn't mean that it isn't the same sim under the hood.

You have to remember, these were the people talking about jumping in and making their own game console a few years back. "Slightly Mad" is a bit of an understatement. :)

Whole thing sort of sounds contradictory. "It is the same old sim, but more accessible". In Pcars 2 you could always start with slower cars and driving assists.

They keep using words like "simplified" when talking about changes. Is it a sim or not?

I'll definitely hold off and see what others say.

Yeah, it all sounds off. I mean their tyre model is desribed as convincing & fun. WTF!!

Think Competizione is a safer bet. Only ÂŁ35 to boot. If PC3 is decent I 'll ppick it up later on in the year.

Hard to tell just by watching. I do like that they stole GT Sport's marker for points on the turn. I prefer that to the "racing line" in most games that seems to mess me up more.
 
Forgive my poor driving, been a while since I played a full on sim. but for comparison sake, here is a chase cam video of PC2

I like the color palette in PC2 better than what we have seen in PC3. PC2 looks more realistic IMO.

I don't get the weird bouncing under braking. Race cars don't do that. You put a car with suspension like that oln a race track and brake into a corner you'll be off the track.
