PS+ Games of the Month! Get'em while they're hot! (PS4 & PS3)

Don't Starve? I didn't realize they ported it to PS4. Nice.
you actually liked don't starve? Considering what they've made in past I expected a much more polished title. The game doesn't give u a clue as to what you're doing. I ran around killing & collecting things but no idea what to do at all cause the game acts like u played it before. Top it off it felt fairly clunky. My friend & I both downloaded & played for about 10 minutes & agreed this game isn't even worth it for free. Deleted right away. Now Outlast & Resogun, those were great!

Ten minutes sounds very impatient, and most of the controls are self-explanatory. You let yourself get ruined by the modern-day gaming, man. The new generation of gamers are too pampered these days with games that remind you in every level to "press A to jump."

You crazy, Don't Starve is an amazing game. The whole point of the game is to not know what to do, it's about experimentation, exploration and tension.

HK Game of the Month for PS4. I don't see why it wouldn't be here as well.

I got Monster Hunter! Sony is doing a nice "Flash Sale" with Thief and Tomb Raider for PS4 50% off, it ends Thursday.

Can't wait to see what April will bring us.

The tension makes things a bit too frenzied to allow you to explore. I may have got into a slower pace at the start allowing the user more time to figue out wtf is going on. Willing to bet many like myslpelf gave this game 15 minutes of trial before throwing in the towel. Cant argue more time may uncover the gem you see but most wont get to that point.

Same could be said about the Souls series.

Hope they throw Knack or a 3rd party game on PS4. It's time for a retail game

I think Theif or TR will be one of the first early free games later this year perhaps.

if playing games since NES makes me a new generation gamer than so be it. I played till I died but timeframe may be exaggerated
I don't need hand holding I just wanted to be told what the buttons did least once. Plus those controls ugh!

My thoughts exactly

The April PS Plus Free line-up was just announced, and it continues to kick ass:

  • Batman: Arkham City (PS3) | IGN Score: 9.5
  • Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (PS3) | IGN Score: 6.7
  • Mercenary Kings (PS4) | IGN Score: N/A (Launches April 1st)
  • PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD (Vita) | IGN Score: 9.0
  • Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark (Vita) | IGN Score: 9.2
  • Velocity Ultra (Vita) | IGN Score: 8.4

I was actually planning on buying Arkham City this weekend. PS+ just saved me another $25.

Hopefully Microsoft can bring something equally worthwhile to the table this month. It'll be great for gamers if they can.

Aw yeah, I've only played AA, not AC or AO so I'll be downloading this gem. Love PS+!

I'll probably download all the games to my queue and play them later. Love that I can process them and then choose to play it later.

Doesn't it seem it has been a litle less than the way this year started? we were getting 3 retail games for example. Either way, this month is a lot better imo than last

Really happy to get Batman as I haven't played it yet. Great pick up, I actually really wanted Mickey too, another good pick up. Not sure on Mercenary Kings.

i'll take a little bit of pes 2014 :)... i swear to jesus though, konami better include the online pass

It's on the PS4, just get it, lol. Does anyone want to coop sometime for Dead Nation trophies and potentially Mercenary Kings?

Yea I wouldn't mind trying Dead Nation coop. I've only played the first mission to try it out and haven't gone back. Infamous is part of that reason.

What?

Also, a nice little PS3 sale is going on until Monday. Lots of sports games included.

Significant discounts on over 20 games.

It's time for another surprise, out-of-nowhere Flash Sale on the PlayStation Network! You may recognize this, as Sony has done it twice before, once in January, and again for Valentine's Day.

The first Flash Sale, back in January, didn't have much of a theme. The second one did, though, and so too does this one. The theme of this Flash Sale? Every discounted game comes from Electronic Arts.

Below, you can find the 21 games that are on sale. Each game is for PlayStation 3, and naturally, each game is available digitally (only for users on the North American PSN). The original price is first; the discounted price is next to it.

  • Alice: Madness Returns ($19.99 | $9.99)
  • Battlefield 4 ($49.99 | $24.99)
  • Battlefield 1943 ($9.99 | $4.99)
  • Crysis ($19.99 | $9.99)
  • Crysis 2: Maximum Edition ($29.99 | $14.99)
  • Crysis 3: Ultimate Bundle ($43.99 | $21.99)
  • Dead Space: Ultimate Edition ($24.99 | $12.49)
  • Dead Space 2: Ultimate Edition ($39.99 | $19.99)
  • Dead Space 3: Ultimate Edition ($62.49 | $31.49)
  • FIFA 14 ($59.99 | $29.99)
  • FIFA Street ($19.99 | $4.99)
  • Hasbro Family Game Night 3 ($29.99 | $19.99)
  • Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning ($19.99 | $9.99)
  • Madden NFL 25 ($49.99 | $24.99)
  • Monopoly Streets ($29.99 | $19.99)
  • NBA Jam: On Fire Edition ($14.99 | $3.99)
  • NCAA Football 14 ($49.99 | $29.99)
  • Need For Speed Rivals ($59.99 | $29.99)
  • NFL Blitz ($14.99 | $7.49)
  • NHL 14 ($49.99 | $29.99)
  • Shank 2 ($9.99 | $4.99)

I don't see anything too amazing in price or want.. it is a sports sale well... somewhat..

I'd have to ask you guys about

Alice, I know the PC version probably looks a decent amount better. I really want to get this game and I really want to play the old game as well. I don't know if I'll or when I'll have a PC to get more PC games though. Would be nice to have that option but currently don't.

Fifa street, is it worth 5 dollars? I'd rather it actaully be cheaper but if it's a fun two player game could possibly give it a try..

NBA Jam, at 3.99 I'll probably just get this.

SHank 2- is this a good co op game or anything? I seem to remember shank 1, but didn't buy it.

I'd get NFL Blitz if it was cheaper, but not at that price.
