Well the developers are smart. They chose to dial back their games graphically so that they supported 60fps and 30fps.
Yes, but you got to forget that so their opinion is null & void...at least until the next DF video where PS has 2fps more. Then DF's opinion is gospel.
Raytracing and 60 fps is not dialling back at all. Just well optimized for the PlayStation. Has any other game introduced raytracing and 60 fps to another game for the last 4 years ? Besides Insomniac

How does a game introduce RT/60 to a game? I am confused by that question.

Game does look great, better at 30 (fite me!) but one could say it’s a refined wine that started with sunset overdrive. I hope they get to do their own thing again. Will probably be another decade before that happens.
Perhaps, I side more with artistic intent. Come this May we may get a PC announcement, and then we’ll get the best of the two works.
