Finally finished this show. Season 5 took off in a weird way, but was interesting. Overall... this was a great sci-fi show.

I don't know about anyone else, but I personally cannot wait for this to air. It's my most anticipated 2013/14 premiere. I know this may seem as blasphemous to many, many people but I'm more excited about the return of Lost Girl than I am Game of Thrones.
So if you liked Buffy at all you should check this show out. It's not nearly as well written but it is quite entertaining with a ton of lore behind it. The entire first 3 seasons are on Netflix now so if you're looking for a new fantasy show to watch give it a shot.

If i like The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, Game of Thrones series, and Zelda, related to this genre what else should i watch?
I guess i like epic fantasies and war movies, i sort of like Harry Potter which is somewhat related, but other than that i dont see much else i would like that relates to these genres. Mythology movies are ok since they are sort of like epic fantasies, ive seen Troy and liked it some.
What would you guys recommend?

Best I can think is FULL METAL ALCHEMIST: Brotherhood.
Not a movie, but an Anime series that slowly reveals a lot of backstory and has a strange Arch-Villain. A lot revolves around the Fantasy / PseudoScience Alchemy power wielded by gifted characters.

My gf and I were going to the movies this weekend to see Frozen, but it was sold out so we had to decide on a different movie. Did a quick IMDB search of all the movies available and I couldn't believe how high Her was rated. We decided what the hell.
So a very large portion of this movie is just the main character talking to a voice in his head (the OS aka Samantha). So that's something interesting to take into account - a 2 hour movie with probably 85% of it having only one person on screen.
In the beginning I kind of found myself not liking it and even thought some of the "sexual" scenes were too far out there and kind of made me feel awkward. As the movie progressed though the awkwardness went away and I was enjoying it. I walked away from the movie theatre thinking it was interesting and pretty good. After it sunk in a bit though, I find that I'm appreciating the movie more and more. It definitely left a lasting impression on me.
Overall I thought the acting was very good and I'd recommend seeing it.

Your post pretty much sums up how I feel about it now after letting it sink in.
I can't really find anything other than books to whet your medieval fantasy appetite but perhaps I may suggest you go to a Renaissance Festival.

If not maybe take a road trip to one. There is really nothing much finer than going to people watch and ogling all the women in their push up corsets…

Producers of 24 have announced that a new series of the show will be filmed in London.
The cast of the Emmy award-winning programme will be shooting scenes at various locations in the English capital in February.
24: Live Another Day, the first new series of the show for four years, will see Kiefer Sutherland return as lead character Jack Bauer.
The series will premiere on Sky 1 in May.

In the previous eight series of the show, 24 episodes were shown in real-time with each one representing an hour in Bauer's life.
However, the new series will take place over just 12 hour-long instalments.
Mary Lynn Rajskub will return as Chloe O'Brian, William Devane stars as James Heller and Kim Raver will play Audrey Raines.
Kiefer Sutherland said: "Hopefully, by the time you're finished watching an episode, you'll feel like you've been there… on the edge of your seat."
However, at a press conference on Monday the 47-year-old actor admitted to being worried about the new series.
"I'm about as anxious and wound up as I've been in a long time," he said.
"There's a great impetus for all of us to create something new with the show."

The series will pick up four years after the events of the last season of 24, with Bauer now a fugitive being hunted by the CIA.

The series began in 2001 spanning 192 episodes, with the final episode broadcast on 24 May 2010.

I actually went to one of those when i was living in Munich, that was epic, it had the alps backdrop, best pork ive ever ate, and awesome beer, the show was pretty cool, it was a knights showdown, i had a great time, and the people were all friendly in a goofy way.
Now im definetly going to one here, i see one just north of South Florida, i had forgot all about it.

Anyways it's time for me to have some Bat-fun on a Bat-Xbox with 66 Bat-man. I have missed "the same Bat-time, same Bat-channel" by more than 50 years, about time I should watch this.
I loved watching this show growing up and the times here and there I've seen it show up on TV recently can say it holds up to the test of time - even moreso in many cases as now as an adult can appreciate the intended campy-ness of it all. The sets are visual eye candy and it's always a trip down memory lane with all the cameos of past celebrities. Easily one of my favorite series from the 60's and a must-buy when it releases.
