MLG wants the most reliable system out there. Dedicated servers helps. Also, the Xbox controllers (360 or X1) are better for shooters.
There's more mics, but considering how lousy they are I'm not sure how many people will actually use them.
Yeah, but then you have the people that can hook up their old bluetooths and headsets from the PS3, and I bet my left nut the folks that switched to PS4 will use their old headsets and bluetooths.

I think it'd be a gross overstatement to say Halo 4 is the worst in the series. MP wise is has it's issues but it's vastly better than Reach IMO. Every Halo game to date had been exceptionally done and none of the games really are "bad" games. When looking at every campaign in every Halo game, they've all been great. Even ODST is paced and told better than most games.
I'll agree with MR SCHULTZ to a degree. Halo 3's MP was great, it was fresh step up from 2 and improved more than anything. I grew tired of Halo's MP mid way through 3 though, but that's a personal issue.
Honestly I would rather have a Halo game similar to Mass Effect. RPG style, open universe traveling and doing UNSC mission. Through in some co-op with other spartans and I'd be sold. Today i can play Halo's MP to an extent but the campaign will always be something I'm sold on. So a Halo game similar to Mass Effect would be perfect.

I think exploring where the spartan tech is going on a wider scale would be really interesting. I have a feeling the thought of "spartan mercenaries" isn't as appealing to some people, but it's so much more than the chief and the forerunners. Sure there's that story, but the colonies (surviving ones anyway) never saw a thing, and even though one city on earth was digitized, the rest of the planet is probably kept in the dark, real backroom ONI s***.
Really take anything ONI does, get a look at what they really know and what they've done. It'd make a good "espionage" game. Except for like, their photo editing.

Halo 4 wasn't only the best Halo experience to date, single player and multiplayer, but it's also the best looking game on console to date. 343i is the studio to beat as well as watch. I am amazed what they accomplished this late in the generation. The only dev nearly as matriculated and dedicated would be Turn 10.

To an extent. I also think its also a time of unreal expectations. When games are pegged a failure for selling "only" several million copies or needing to sell 15 million + to be assured development how can larger dev. take those "f**ing weird risks" that smaller or "indies" make?
Aside from prolly free to play models vs. paid, why is there such incertainty? It's really only just a generation change, in which most dev/pubs know the "specs" of the new consoles. Judging by the hype, "record" pre-orders and consumer awareness there is going to be a market for both consoles, so why?
