Psylocke and Storm look pretty good, Apoc looks like the worst adaption of a comic book hero or villain I have ever seen. I know they have CGI to do, but he does not look like Apoc from any of the comics or cartoons and he does not look intimidating at all either, hell, Storm is standing over him. Also, have they mentioned what accent Psylocke is gonna have yet? I would be seriously disappointed if they Americanised her, she's one of the few good British comic book heroes.

I guess it is way cheaper to put it on a physical format in a case and ship it around the world millions of times?

This is something I don't understand , Why DD is often the same price as a physical copy and sometimes the Physical copy can be had cheaper because of a sale or promotion.
I would assume producing a hard copy and shipping it to dealers would be more expensive than providing a digital DL but that must not be the case due to the pricing I've seen .
And then theres the ability to resale a hard copy which possibly negates a new purchase of the game where as a DD copy is bound to the original purchaser.

It seems to me that Developers and distributors would be encouraging DD out the azz with much cheaper pricing.

Plus they'll make more in sales since they'll kill the resale market for used games. I don't understand the digital pricing @ all.

Apocalypse looks terrible. I don't buy that they are going to manipulate him that much with CGI.

Making him that short in the first place is a mistake...i don't care if he can grow bigger.

Apocalypse should be immediately intimidating when you look at him.

No budget to make him more like Thanos?

Can Olivia Munn do a good British accent?

En Sabah Nur looks like his costume was designed by a comatose fish. Storm and Psylocke look good. Wonder if Captain Britain will make a cameo in the movie.

Digital distribution is a lot like social media. It serves no purpose other than being lazy in my opinion. Going out and actually buying your games and having options to do what you want with those games will always be the better option. Just like going out and meeting people will always be better than using Facebook or some dating site.

That's a pretty horrible non-answer, tbh.

Just say it. Convenience fee....
It just requires a bit of reading the right parts. What they are saying is that physical retails still rules the console space, and so they can't do much of anything to hurt physical retailers and must carefully and slooowly push the digital market forward without pissing off the physical retailers who are currently driving the majority of these publishers' game software sales. So they keep the price of digital up so that you'll prefer the boxed version, and this will appease retailers. Ubisoft eventually wants a Steam-like ecosystem on consoles one day, but full-retail digital games on consoles is still maturing. So what it comes down to is publishers shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them, at least not until they can break their reliance off of boxed sales.

An officially licensed Universal Media Remote for PlayStation 4 will be made available in October.

Sony hasn’t announced the remote just yet, but Amazon and GameStop both have it listed for release on October 31 and October 15, respectively. We’re not sure why there is a date discrepancy, but it’s quite possible GameStop made a deal to sell it first.

Deigned by Performance Designed Products (PDP), which manufactured the officially licensed PlayStation 3 Universal Remote, the device supports PS4 media playback via Bluetooth.

It allows users to control up to four devices: PS4, Set Top Box, TV, and Audio Receiver. It also features dedicated buttons for PS4 Home and Power.

Both Amazon and GameStop have the remote listed for $29.99.

Thanks, Gamespot

Sony has announced PS4 system software update 2.57 will be released "soon".

The patch is a minor one, designed to improve the "stability of some features." No estimated release date has been announced.

The NPD Group released its sales findings for June last Thursday and, once again, the best-selling console was Sony's PlayStation 4.

The PS4 has sold over 22.3 million consoles as of the end of April, with 38 million expected to be sold by the end of March 2016. Microsoft's keeping its cards closer to its chest, however, with the only sales update we've received being in last November, when nearly 10 million had been sold-in to retailers - not to gamers.

The PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will not launch on the same day as the Xbox One iteration.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed the details on Twitter recently. "Gears on Windows 10 is later than Xbox One version," he said in response to questions from fans.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition for PC was announced at E3 2015 last month with no mention of a release date whatsoever. The game supports 4K resolution, but Microsoft has not announced any other further details about PC-specific features.

The Xbox One version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launches August 25 for $40. Also on that date, Microsoft will release a new $350 Xbox One bundle that includes a copy of the game.

As its name suggests, the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is a remaster of the 2006 original Gears of War. In addition to better visuals, the game features five missions that were cut from the Xbox 360 version of the game so the game could launch on time.

In addition, everyone who buys the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will receive access to the Gears of War 4 beta on Xbox One; this beta begins in spring 2016.

If Microsoft enabled Windows 10 PCs to stream games to Xbox One, keyboard and mouse support would definitely follow.

When Windows 10 releases in the coming days, anyone who owns an Xbox One will be able to stream Xbox One games to any PC running the new OS. As for the other way around, Microsoft always said that it’s something it’s looking into.

Of course for that to be fully functional, Xbox One will need to fully support keyboard and mouse as an input device. Xbox boss Phil Spencer knows this, and has recently reiterated on Twitter that he likes the idea, but doesn’t have anything to announce.

He did however add that should it happen, keyboard and mouse support would need to be there.

Keyboard and mouse support could be added to Xbox One and still be limited to streaming situations, preventing users from gaining an advantage in multiplayer games.

Xbox One already has keyboard support. So I assume they mean the mouse added?

40 bucks? Meh. I'll pass. When games like Halo MCC and Uncharted NDC have more than 3+ gamse and are being released for 60 dollars, 40 dollars for 1 game doesn't seem right.

Cripes that is about as gawd awful looking as watching a trailer for that "Pixels" movie. o_O

First Amiibo I actually want to own though because...good times memories.

The best console keeps getting better. Sony is running away with this gen. The PS4 must be near 23 million sold by now.

Just another stability update. No big deal. I wouldn't get too carried away (look who I'm talking to).

Stability patches aren't going to fix my wobbling three-pronged console. Sony should have learned this already after their fourteenth attempt.
