The future of Xbox is on as many devices as they can be. Sony is late to the game, but they are starting to follow suit.

Sony is NOT releasing their exclusives on XBOX any time soon.
If you are a console gamer, there is very little reason to buy an xbox. The future of xbox is the end of the xbox physical console....

MLB the Show is on Xbox. Sony also confirmed that their Bungie games are on Xbox. And there are rumors that Helldivers 2 might hit Xbox.

Then there is confirmation from Sony that their future is all about multiplatform. They are focused on as many devices as possible. Consoles, mobile, PC, streaming devices. Sonys words.

Which if you think about it, great news for all gamers.

The writing was on the wall because it would be hard to make up the lost multiplatform revenue for two big third party publisher giants especially when a big bulk of the revenue came from PlayStation gamers.
