I hope they add the groovitron as post launch content lol loved that weapon in the other game.

I played 3 times this weekend. All three times I had my PS5 in rest mode. And all 3 times when I turned on my PS5, which brings you to the dashboard, EXPLORE icon is highlighted and I can't move one icon over to the right to the Ratchet icon. It's froze on the EXPLORE icon. So I do a RESTART of the PS5 and I can then move from EXPLORE to RATCHET. Odd because if I hit the guide button, I can go through all those icons with no problem.

Weird.

When I was playing through it, I just hit pause in-game. Put PS5 in rest mode. When I go back to it, I just click circle, circle and I'm back in the game.

I don't think it's game related. I just happened to explain my issue here because I was going into Ratchet. But I don't hit pause in game. I will just be playing, then press the guide button and go down to power and enter rest mode.

I wonder if I should try pause first.

Try it and see if it helps.

I just make a habit of pausing any game I play before I put into rest mode. Less chance of any bugs happening IMO.

Just picked up a used copy of this bad boy, played through the opening level and as expected, was pretty blown away. The detail, colors and lighting is amazing. Playing fidelity mode at 120hz.

Had to turn off motion blur, chromatic abberation etc. Do people actually like this crap? Motion blur I can understand, but CA actively makes the picture look worse by blurring the corners.

You doing fidelity 120hz mode at 40fps?

DF's been raving about this saying how it's the first game to do it and others should follow suit. It essentially sits at a response time that's halfway between 30fps/60hz and 60fps/60hz. It's a nice compromise to keep fidelity/quality mode.

Yea that's the one, to be honest it's kind of hard to tell the difference between 30/40 fps, maybe if you had it side by side you'd notice, but the game is pretty smooth in any frame rate regardless, and if you can keep that fidelity I hope more devs use it going forward.

This wouldn't be surprising as Insomniacs engine is already ported to PC with the Spiderman games.

This game is going to look even better on high end PCs . It already looks like a Pixar film. Hopefully it has DirectStorage support.
