Whoa, those suits look very cool.

I'm a little concerned about is this developer causing seizures for gamers. Seriously, that's not a joke when you consider their past titles. And now they have been granted the ability to slam our eyes & ears with even higher sensory input provided by the power of the PS5. This could get dangerous. :hehe:

I was feeling sketchy on this game but honestly probably going to grab it at launch. Not much else PS5 specific and this looks like a good pick up and play at random game that would go well as a side game to my main game I'm playing at th etime.

I'm not surprised that this game looks like a 3D bullet-hell given the developer. I shall mentally prepare my reflexes and attempt to bottle my rage because of the slow deterioration of my hand/eye coordination.

I mostly ignored this game (probably because I didn't think I'd have a PS5 yet) but honestly getting pumped for it and those gifs are helping. Considering the low res/compression of those gifs, this game in 4k/60 with HDR is going to be an eyegasm.
 
Since this is a definite purchase for me I mine as well preorder to get the few goodies on offer. Just 10 more days to go.

I'm not the biggest fan of bullet-hell shooters but this does look interesting and I'm super curious to see how Housemarque handles their first full retail release. I hope they knock it out of the park to secure their place among the other top tier developers of the Sony Gaming Empire.

I mean I personally like the look of it. It reminds of Metroid meets Gunvalkyrie.

If I had a PS5, I'd get it. At some point.

You're right, this is an unproven studio with this being its first full retail release and there's not much to go on for the game itself. But I'm willing to take a chance and while I wasn't happy about the price hike for no other reason than "Sony can get away with it". I'm pretty much over it or other things outside my control.

I just want to take the chance and hope for the best. Its been a while since I've went into a game almost completely in the dark which raises my excitement level. I also want to support Housemarque because I haven't always in the past. But I'm rooting for them to be another feather in Sony's in house development cap. Another studio to produce high quality exclusives means a quicker cadence of quality exclusive titles throughout the year.

I still need to preorder it as well. I think I've bought and enjoyed every major release from Housemarque for the last 11 years, so I'd feel guilty If I didn't support them on their first AAA budget title. I don't like Sony's $70 price tag, but as you say, nothing we can do about it.

I watched 45 minutes of play on Cohh's stream today.



I believe I have a reason to eventually purchase a PS5. Still hoping for a black model soon.

Standard. This will be a one and done for me. I won't even bother with the two included pre-order suits. With me having so many unfinished games, my new route to games is play them on easy, skip the online and do no side missions. I get like 4 hours a week now for gaming, so I can't bother with completion.

Miles Morales was an exception as of recent. I couldn't stop playing all the side stuff too.

Totally understandable. I'm in the same boat time wise. My job has been ridiculously busy lately, I can never get caught up so I work 10 to 12 hour days pretty much 5 days a week and still need to put in time over the weekend (already planning on pretty much full days both Saturday and Sunday this week). I actually haven't played any games more than just a few minutes worth of Forza Horizon in quite some time now.

It sucks that when you're young and don't have responsibilities you have tons of time on your hands, but no money. You finally get money when you're older, but have no time to enjoy it!
