Ubisoft has finally nailed down a date for the anticipated RPG from Obsidian, South Park: The Stick of Truth, which will release in North America on December 10 and in Europe on December 12.
Fans who pre-order the game will receive the Ultimate Fellowship pack, which grants players a pack of exclusive costumes and abilities. It will include the Necromancer Sorcerer with extra fire damage, Ranger Elf providing extra weapon damage, the Rogue Assassin granting extra gold, and the Holy Defender dishing out extra defense.
Also announced is the special edition of the game, titled Grand Wizard Edition. In this special packaged release, players will find a 6" Kidrobot Cartman Grand Wizard figure, a hand-drawn map of the South Park Kingdom, and the Ultimate Fellowship Pack. This edition will retail for $79.99.

If the combat is entertaining, I'll get it. I'm a little concerned about that piece.

Preordered the PC CE since I had $90 in Amazon credit. I can't wait, it's my most anticipated game of the year.
 
The Grand Wizard Edition finally became available on Amazon. Told my wife I pre-ordered it for and she can give it to me for Christmas.

The first one is the GameStop Exclusive and the bottom one is the same one everyone gets for just pre ordering. Amazon doesn't have anything exclusive.

Not really a South Park fan (I like it but just don't watch it really), but this does look really funny. Maybe if I'm not impressed by the next gen offerings and I get bored I'll pick this one up.

OMG, this game is giving me such a raging clue right now. It's telling this will be a good game. I think I'll follow it and give it a day one purchase.
 
What the...? It still looks like Matt and Trey are still heavily involved. I still have it pre-ordered. So, March 2014, huh?
 
Awesome, only a year after its original release. W/e, still have the CE pre-ordered and am looking forward to it, game looks great. I'll have more time to spend this holiday season with the rest of the recently released games now.
 
What, an Obsidian game needed a major overhaul???? Shocking!!!

I laughed at several points, and that's great, but I felt bored watching the turn-based fighting. I'm afraid this one is off my list for now.
 
The turn based stuff actually looks pretty interesting and a solid fit for this game. My opinion of course. Overall, I haven't been so excited for a turn based RPG since Costume Quest and that's a direct result of it being a South Park game in the RPG genre.
 
Hmm, somehow I missed that this was a turn based RPG. My interest just went up drastically.
 
Had no interest in this game, now it's likely a day 1 purchase. Fantastic video and was so hilarious.
