I got a real strong Force Unleashed vibe from it. Not a bad thing from my perspective as I liked the Unleashed games but could have been Force unleashed 3 with a new coat of paint.

It was underwhelming for sure. The character doesn't look interesting, and the gameplay looks bland as hell. I didn't see any personality on display at all. It really seemed pretty soulless and pushed zero boundaries...
I thought the character was better than I expected from their debut. He reminds me of Ian from Shameless.

This just seems way too slow to be like Force Unleashed IMO.

Thanks for the above video, Karmakid. That respawn dev is being intentionally stupid or is just an idiot to say "why do people give a sh!t" in relation to what engine a game runs off of.

Most gamers don't care but when it comes to EA gamers care very much. And that's because there have been numerous examples of games not turning out as good as both gamers and developers had hoped. And it was because of EA forcing the use of Frostbite. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Anthem just to name a few all have horror stories of development hell trying to get the shooter engine to play nice with RPG mechanics.

Honestly... this might redeem EAs clusterf*** of releases lately. Nothing about the gameplay reveals looks bothering, it looks pretty awesome imo.

I'm certain he's a fine actor, but yeah he looks and acts like a boyscout from what we've seen so far.

but now I rant:
I definitely don't ask for edgy brooding (had enough of Legacy's cade skywalker), but this aint exactly original or interesting. And there's always a disconnect when they're presented this way. Upbeat quipping and a positive outlook doesn't change the fact that by the end of the game, they'll have killed a planet or two worth of people.

For a franchise so bent on good vs evil, I don't think I've ever seen the characters question the idea of wholesale slaughter on people that are powerless to stop them. Of course, for a game like this, that'd be obnoxious. As if approaching every fight with the "defuse situation button" would be good gameplay.

But good lord is it getting boring massacring hordes and saving the day. And furthermore, there's a sneaky segment in every single star wars movie, why cant we have a stealth(-optional) game already? That's pretty unrelated, but I'll complain about it nonetheless. The movies have nuance, why can't the games be something besides blast s***, saber a door, defeat the sith

Yeah,he was great inn Shameless and did a cool ''mini'' Joker in Gotham...that last video was good...yeah they are reusing some Action adventure trope, like the Uncharted hang from one arm near fall and the Tomb Raider squeeze through close up camera view but the detail in the environnement and graphics look great and I trust Respawn, especially after the stellar campaign of TitanFall 2...

Can’t remember with who and where the idea that Xbox didn’t have marketing rights to fallen order...but I believe the following link will support that it does indeed have it, due to preorder listing with Xbox first, just saying, your honor ;) :p *bored and waiting on my dinner
