There's another video making its way around with the devs talking about the game which shows a little more gameplay with the villains using their unique abilities. But it looks like those moves have a cooldown and firearms will be the primary means of doing damage.

Personally, I think I'd rather have the Superman game Rocksteady is rumored to have pitched but was denied. And so, they settled on this co-op looter-shooter. Players will have a Gear score and there will be Gear Sets because of course you need that in a Live Service.

All exactly the same!!

What could they possibly change to make this better by delaying it ? Are they hoping gamers will forget what they saw ? Lol

Game will most probably sucks like Most superheroes Game Release ( barred Spider-Man 2)

In the era of live service games crashing and burning, I really hope Rocksteady took a good hard look at why Avengers, Gotham Knights, and to a lesser extent Destiney 2 have failed. I'd hate to see this be the game that kills this studio.

Developers never do. They have years upon years of gamer feedback on similar titles and they ignore it and make all the same mistakes.

This makes it look a little better than the trailer they showed before, the story is going to make or break it IMO. Nobody wanted a live service game they wanted another story driven game. If they can find a way to tell an entertaining story, make you care about the characters and have the gameplay where it needs to be some people may be willing to give it a shot after writing it off before even if it is a service game. The issue for WB is going to be trying to get people to continue to pay for other things after the fact.

This is dead on arrival.
Looks about the same as earlier showing and the only thing I gather from this is that they have lots of cutscenes for story and basically killed the standard open world feeling by not having any civilians on the streets.
Also, this looking a lot like Gotham Knights in terms of structure will prob hurt it even more.
