The hair spray cannon makes everything to easy though lol. It's annoying when people use it in chaos squad no one else can kill anything

For real. Even the deepest games are repetitive in the end. What are you really doing that's any different from what you've been doing once you're at a certain point in a game? Not a whole lot. It always kills me when people bash a game for being repetitive and then turn around and log 8 hours a day into something like CoD/BF multiplayer, and i'm a big fan of shooters.
It's not just the act of repetition that's problem, it's what's repeated.

People who say this just aren't enjoying the gameplay as much as they'd hoped, so notice the repetition more, and unfortunately in this instance, I am one of those people.

That and I really don't like the tower defence/hoard element while making new Amps.

hope posting this in here is ok, i didnt see a thread for like game dvr recordings. Really loving the game recording feature of the x1 and very happy with the system. Here is a sunset video i made earlier.

There are a few reviews, most of them not incredibly positive though. Saying the oil rigs are not that interesting and all that. But i intend to still get it sometime.

Finished this last week, probably going to trade it in now, dont really see playing it again, loved the game though it was very fun and definitely i am glad i got it on the x1.

best open world game of 2014 for me by a mile

still to finish Far Cry 4, Infamous SS and Unity.. but finished this pretty fast cause of how fun it was.

At some point I'm going to have to play this game...bought it when it was on sale a few weeks ago and haven't tried it since.

Sunset Overdrive is great...my best new franchise on Xbox One honestly. You just have to get over an hour in when they give you more control over your character, rank some weapons up, etc. The only thing that sucks is when the game finally ends in single-player & the co-op is mildly forgettable. $30 is a great price for this game.

Yeah, at some point I'm hoping to get a few hours to put into playing it. The last few weeks I was mostly playing the Halo 5 beta with my limited time. Still playing a lot of FIFA 15 as well. I have like 3-4 games I need to put some work into and Sunset Overdrive is near the top of the list.

So now that I have an X1 I guess I'll have to buy it while on sale? I wasn't planning on playing anything on the Bone except free stuff until after I cut my backlog down a bit. But dat sale price.

its a really fun game and i did like it but after beating it i am not sure if i will go back to it but definitely worth playing it though.

Bought and played a few missions last night. If anyone is up for some co-op feel free to add me.

Bumping it up for late game impression. This has got to be the best polished game in recent memories. There isn't even a single trace of feature creep prevalent in open world AAA game with this one. Everything is so tightly connected to acrobatic system which is challenging yet frustration-free, and the game subtly tunes its difficulty as the game progresses by gradually increasing complexities of the map. All weapons are so fun to use, and experimenting them with amps actually yield meaningful results. Chaos Squad is also a crazy fun, and the way the game and the console stand such a massive number of enemies blows me away. Even after 25 hours I am not bored; on the contrary, the game is more fun than it was when it first started, and just keeps getting better. Everything in this game shows what a skilled and capable developer Insomniac is.

I'm about 12 hours into the game and love it. Finally tried some Chaos Squad yesterday and that is a fun mode as well. Cooperative but still compete against each other.

I've been meaning to get back to it for months now. Bought the pass and have played none of the dlc.

I didn't play it until this year but yea I'd probably give it GOTY for last year. I have the DLC but haven't played it yet. Taking a break after beating it to finish some other games.

Yeah, it was my GOTY for 2014. Played great and constantly reminded me of the Dreamcast era.

No numbers. Think it did around 300K in its first month in the US and we don't know how many White consoles got sold.

Seemed to do rather well in the UK.
