Rhino looks like a... mech? Interesting. And is that Green Globin I'm seeing in this poster?!

Out in May 2, 2014.

Yes that's the GG. 3 villains was a problem for Spiderman 3.

Trailer Thursday.

I must be in minor group but I thought Spider-Man 3 was pretty good overall. My wife thought the same. In fact, the first three original movies were great as well. The Amazing Spider-Man was, and is, even better in every way (my opinion, of course). I cannot wait to see Amazing Spider-Man 2; I bet there'll going to be a lot of actions going on! And I can easily see that this movie can hit as hard as $900+ million in theater.

To give you an idea how well the movies preform in theaters (non-inflation):

Spider-Man 3: $890.9m
Spider-Man: $821.7m
Spider-Man 2: $783.8m
The Amazing Spider-Man: $752.2m

All of those movies made it to the top 50 movies of all-time (worldwide) at the moment. We can see that there are plenty of Spider-Man lovers out there and I have a feeling that, as I've stated in my previous post, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 can hit as high as $900m.

Spiderman 3 would have been better without either Venom or Sandman. Probably Venom because the director doesn't like the character and only added him due to a bit of pressure. Also take out the whole emu dancing Parker crap.

[laughs] I thought Peter's dance scene was bit odd. I understood that he wasn't himself and was filled with pride because of venom. :-)

i look forward to the new movie. Spider-man 3 was not my favorite. As a lover of Spider-man I had to admit it.

the last movie was just so f***ing god awful I can't even tell you one single thing that made it awful s*** was just over all awful.

Last two Spiderman movies>Way over Last Stand. Last Stand was pure purtrid s*** that came out of the screen like vomit from a child. Spiderman 3 was fine in my opinion. Spiderman meets the man who killed his uncle, continues to deal with the legacy of Green Goblin, and has to face Venom, which while it wasn't what I wanted, it was decent and nice as a metaphor for Parker's inner demons. The movie wrapped everything up nicely and it was a decent pretty bow to a very solid trilogy. Spiderman 2 is still my favorite though. Amazing Spiderman was just fine. I still think it was stupid having the audience go through another origin movie when they probably could've taken care of it via an intro, but I was super happy to finally see Lizard be used. I know most of the Spiderman villains aren't as loved as those in a Xmen or Batman, but I always dug them as a kid and still do.

Is that really supposed to be Rhino? I was thinking it might be part of the mecha spider story arch from the 90s cartoon (not sure if it was done in the comics) where King Pin is able to have these giant mech spiders go out and hunt down Spider-Man. For the show, it was a huge deal, probably because they were trying to push the toys, but it was worthy of that push because the toys were pretty damn cool. Wish I could've gotten one as a kid.

Ehh I hope its good, last one was entertaining enough. The 3 villain approach is reminding me of the mehness of Spidder-man 3 though.

I liked ASM? Wasn't as good as Spiderman, but still fun, and in some ways more like the comic book personality of Spiderman.

Yeah I enjoyed it, I actually liked it more than the 1st Spiderman movie. Spiderman 2 is still my favorite tho.

The crane bit was awful. But Emma Stone is a much better lead female than Dunst.

I hope they do the Green Goblin justice in this new series, in the original he looked like a sex crazed power ranger.

I thought it was a decent job in terms of trying to give the character a slightly more contemporary feel. Plus, I always found it odd that Goblin dressed up as a Goblin, but hey, that's always been part of the charm in Spiderman. Would love to see him back though. I always considered Goblin to be Spidey's no. 1 villain.

Doc Octopus for me. I think I had a colouring book with him even before I could read.

Not bad. Looks like we'll be getting a lot of actions on screen. I'd watch it in theater for sure! Can't wait.

The CG sucks in this one. It felt like I was watching a video game; it looked cartoony.

[laughs] I was seriously thinking the same thing when I saw that. It definitely made by computer (or CG). The way Spider-Man moves make it looks bit unnatural. I wish whoever animator did that needs to work on reality movement.

Especially the last part where Electro is chasing Spiderman. It looked like it was running on Unreal Engine or something.

As long as I get to see Emma Stone in knee highs, a lab coat and glasses I'll have my masturbatory material for a long, long time.

I mean, I'll be happy with the movie.

I liked the trailer and the art style. Very colorful. Webb is a great director, too. I have high hopes.
