DriedMangoes if you need somebody to run a hard raid with this week, let me know, I'm down.

Also, looks like I'm going to have to start up a 2nd or even 3rd character, as it looks like it will take months to upgrade my armor and weapons with those radiant energy/shards with the way the system is right now. Am I able to put my all my raid armor and exotics in the vault, or do I have to get eris morn to a certain level before I can vault my crota raid gear?

You can put anything in Vault, except bounties.

I need to do the VoG raid on hard this week. But I want to complete the other weekly Strikes first. I should be raid ready by tomorrow or Friday at the latest.
 
Got a sweet raid chest piece for my Warlock. Both ammo perks buff weapon types that I use. I already had a raid chest piece, but the ammo perks were worthless for my choice of weapons. Glad I held out on using my Radiant Shards.

Chest piece or helmet for me. Found a way to cheese the first of the raid again so we can grind out for some a shot at getting the parts we need

  • ARMOUR – Achl Symbiote, Lucky Raspberry, Crest of Alpha Lupi, No Backup Plans, Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Light Beyond Nemesis
  • WEAPONS – Bad Juju, The Last Word, Plan C, Pocket Infinity, Thunderlord, Gjallarhorn
Xur is located in the Hall of Guardians. I finally have some things to spend all the coins I have on. I've been wanting Obsidian Mind for my Warlock for a long time. And I think I'll get the Titan helmet as well. Most definitely getting Icebreaker for my alt. And I think I'll get the upgraded versions of Bad JuJu and Pocket Infinity even though I rarely use those weapons.

I have the same shopping list. But since I have close to 100 coins I’m thinking of getting two Icebreakers so all my alternate characters have their own. That might be overkill though. Now all I need is the Helm of Saint for the Titan. I know its useful for the bubble but I really want it because it looks awesome.

Helm of Saint 14 does look cool but what it does with ward of dawn makes it one of the best pve pieces of gear in the game.
 
I actually had the Icebreaker drop twice for me awhile back. I broke it down both times because I had P&T and thought that it wasn't as good. Fast forward to the past month, and Ive seen how good it actually is from watching other people. I ended up buying 3 yesterday. Then I did the Nightfall with one of my characters, and ended up getting a fourth from the end drop.lol

It can work miracles in the Crota raid. I cant think of any section it isn't useful in.

Have my titan to 32 now. Once I get Eris to level 4 I'll be able to convert the energy pieces to shards and I'll have enough to get my warlock and hunter to 32. I have gotten the raid machine gun, shotgun and sniper rifle so far. All excellent weapons.

I have the raid RL, SR, and MG. Ive actually gotten the shotgun several times, but Ive broken it down. I never use shotguns. I love the Black Hammer though.With my lvl 32, I can kill boomers with a single headshot. It is incredible in most of the strikes too.
 
All 3 of my characters are 32....I went into this weeks Raid wanting a Black Hammer and came up empty even got shards 2 times.
After many hours I think I might be stepping off this game some as I am sick of the loot system and will be pissed if they up the light level AGAIN.

You'll be back when House of Wolves comes out in March. ;)

Come on VAL. You know what to expect of House of Wolves once the Dark Below launched on Dec 9th. You shouldn't be expecting anything vastly different until Destiny 2 even then don't expect big changes since Destiny has been a success so far.

And we know you will buy the september DLC (comet) as well.
