I've seen a few local Republicans running ads for their primaries and they are hitting the "Trump endorses me" point hard. You'd think if they thought Trump would hurt them they would play that down a bit, but they are going full on the Trump message. It is really noticeable (they could just not talk Trump in their own ad). They must feel Trump helps them among Republicans which isn't a good sign.

Even Jeff Sessions did that lol.

I think that is only a sign that the base loves him and that is no surprise and that is also not going to change while he is in office.

Nice to Trump stirring the pot with the NFL/Goodell statement. How many white people going to boycott the NFL this season when players start kneeling.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FLAG YOU F***ING IDIOTS!!!! They’re never going to get it.

If anybody says they are boycotting the NFL they either never watched it to begin with or secretly are watching it and supporting it and just want to seem "tough".

I think people should take these "Biden is crushing Trump" polls with caution. The fact that these Republicans choose to embrace Trump in their ads shows that they think the party is united behind Trump. They could easily just talk about their own agenda and not mention Trump.

We need some cracks in the base. Not a ton, but a few. Seeing them running ads that are basically Trump ads is frightening. You'd think in blue NY that this wouldn't fly.

I'd be more concerned with the lefts constant embracing of really stupid labels like "defund the police" and forcing Bidens and others to take stances. Defund the police doesn't mean get rid of the police but that is exactly what it sounds like so its so easy to dismiss any real progress.

In a primary, they have to be in lockstep because they're competing for voted from people who are still registered Republicons after all the events of the past four years.

Around 1/3 of the country strongly approving and 1/2 strongly disapproving are numbers that are bad for general elections but certainly don't force Republicans in primaries to run from him.

The GOP convention is coming to town. Now I'm almost glad our dips*** governor left the state open as long as they did, but I think I'll need to stay indoors for the next decade or so.

All signs point to his approval rating falling but I doubt it fell 10 points. One of their polls is definitely off.

I have to admit, on one hand this seems staged, on the other, at least it's a good message! I mean Trump's whole thing is about getting people riled up, but never about compassion... EVER!

This is my biggest concern with the fact that he still somehow has followers... basically that they're OK with hate-streams and tantrums, and the injecting of UV rays, but where is any compassion for well, anything or anyone? I think they would love him if he shat on all of their lawns every day, and it wouldn't matter. I've never seen anything this big and yet so eerily cult-ish in my life.

So Trump has scheduled his next rally on the anniversary of a racist massacre, at the location it took place.

He is not even trying to hide his racism anymore.

All political photos are staged.

When it comes to empathy there couldn't be more of a contrast than Trump and Biden
