Holy sh!t does Bungie not have any other Strike than the Summoning Pit? I've played every Vanguard Strike open to me know and each one has been the Summoning Pit Strike, and that's the weekly Strike too! So much for a "random" strike...

If you don't play PVP at all I wouldn't bother with the factions. I made that mistake and lost out on a lot of Vanguard lvling. You can't buy anything from those factions without Crucible Marks.

I hit lvl 3 with mine last night and I got all rare items from my six rare engrams I farmed. I did get a uncommon helmet from one of the rare engrams from the postmaster. Someone needs to tell the dude making all these helmets to lay off for a bit...
 
Is the summoning pit the one with the Ogre? Because that one sucks.
 
Im at lv 22 and what is the best way to upgrade the light armors? is it doing the cave trick? what other ways since im not to much into the VS modes.
 
I played the ones with the Cabal boss and Vexx Hydra about 10 times each yesterday. I've attempted the Ogre a couple of times but failed. Although I was only level 21 at the time with crap gear.
 
I think I'm level 5 cryptach and notice I don't get that much green items from my blue drops, which is nice. I got a legendary sniper last night, was worried that I was going to be jipped again.

I know when I play crucible I enable the Monarch armor for rep points and when I do strike I make sure the Vanguard armor is enabled.
 
Literally have full purples and 6 exotics from farming the cave for 6 nights for 3 to 4 hours a night..I usually go back with 20 blue engrams and 3 legendary . Kinda weird but 5 times outta 10 the first drop from farming the cave is a legendary,about to reach level 29 and also not a troll ,just don't usually agree with popular opinion.
 
Also cryptach level has nothing to do with what you get from engrams,level 22 I got 2 legendary and received 2 green items. Wanted to point out that I've had enough ascendant shards to level 2 relic items and 2 legendary's working on the third. Cave farm is the only sure way to level past 28 at the moment in my honest opinion and yes is boring as hell usually watch TV while doing it,but after farming rep in vanilla wow it seems easy.

Really is boring as hell now ,I think I'm on my way to watching the entire Breaking bad series.
 
I hit 25 and just slowed down. Everything I get for drops now has less light level. Need some epics but farming is so boring.
 
It just sucks that you can get and do get sh!t items from Rare+ engrams. The one and only legendary item I was awarded so far for mission reward was for a Warlock, I'm a fuq'ing Titan...

At first I thought the Queens Wrath event was worth it. I wasted around 36 Ascendant Shards on the armor. I ended up breaking the armor down, and didn't get a single shard back. Now the only reason I bother is for the XP, and I want both of her shaders.

I don't like the way my current gauntlets, and leggings look. 2 different factions have the armor items that I want. Currently, Im nearly rep lvl 2 with the Future War Cult. Then Im going to join the New Monarchy and hit lvl 2 rep. After that I need to hit Crucible lvl 3 to get the Sparrow I want. Hopefully Xir will still offer the green Sparrow booster next week.
 
I don't get it, does every piece of Legendary armor/weapons have the same base damage and armor rating within the legendary class same for exotics? That's what it seems like when you browse the stores.

Yes, if you buy the ones from the store. I got a higher rated legendary gauntlet and better sniper rifle though from the raid.

I got a legendary auto rifle as a reward for a strike and it had better stats than the stuff from the vendors. I just wish there was more variation to all the guns in output and effects, like in BL. It would make the grind a little more enjoyable.
