I agree. I played through the first one just prior to the second. Part II could have added via subtraction in overall play length. It also would have been nice to see some more play mechanics.
However, everything else was amazing. The graphics weren't spectacular all the way through, but at their height they were the best of this generation. The detail is second to none.
At this stage I'm getting a little tired of the "unstoppable killer" gameplay style. I think it tends to stick out with Naughty Dog games more because the main characters aren't trained soldiers or anyone where this would even be a reasonably feasible outcome.

Some people didn't agree with Neil Druckmann's thoughts and actions so transferred that sentiment to his games without even playing it.

Got this game at Target for $27 last night and just popped the game disc into my PS4 right now. Let's see what's the fuss is all about.
Probably trying to figure out to pack it with the PS5 version so everyone has to buy it again

Yeah when I originally played the game I was disappointed for sure with 30fps on my Ps4 pro. After a while it didn't bother me....TLOU2 has some of the best implemented motion blur out there.
60FPS is just the icing on the cake for me.
Beat the game in 30fps now I have to beat it in 60fps.
Do you remember how this was difficulty wise? I'm literly never finishing any games I start these days, not sure if I've finished playing a single game since the next gen consoles released, was considering dropping it down from the default setting just so I could actually get through it quicker.
It's just a patch that unlocked the framerate how much do they really have to announce? Why tell people in advance? the game has been out for almost a year (damn time flies) so I doubt it was going to be a big selling feature at this point.
