We watched up to the end of the season that had Rick and Negan finally face off with Rick cutting Negan’s throat. My wife and I would like to finish the last few seasons one day just to say we finally finished it. We also watched 3 season of Fear The Walking Dead need to finish that one too. I remember last watching when Shannon from Lost and Morgan from TWD entered the show.
 
I thought it was a good episode. Didn't care for the gay sex stuff, but not gonna knock the episode for it. It was a good story but would have been more relatable if it were a traditional couple.

That's a good place to stop. A lot of jumping the shark after that. There were some cool moments with some villains but nothing worthwhile. So much filler. Right around the time covid hit is when the show clearly ran into budget crunch and limitations. They'd spend weeks on some minor character drama and it just had no point. That's when the main actors started leaving too.

You could pick up from the spinoffs and probably catch up just fine. The later seasons became about the minor characters that took over and really didn't wrap up anything.

I have to laugh at the people online calling this "woke" this wasn't woke or forced at all. Bill was gay in the game, they did change his and Frank's relationship to make it a happier one instead of the miserable one we are led to believe they had previously. Bill is a popular character in the game and they wanted to give him more time. They do need to change things from the game here and there otherwise we've seen it all already.

There was no preachy stuff here it was two people who loved each other doing what couples do, there was no nudity, no simulated sex etc. If in 2023 you can't handle seeing two men kiss that's an issue you need to deal with, the vast majority of couples on tv are heterosexual couples so you can see that any time you want.

Episode 3 was a major deviation from the game but having said that , it was beautifully shot and produced.

I'll just leave this comment here: I told my partner after we finished watching it the difference in storyline from the game and in the TV show. She said "Oh, they should have done it the game way, it sounds much sadder and more tragic. This seemed more like a happier ending".

Simulated would be showing them actually doing it (acting) and they didn't do that, they talked about it and one guy laid on top of the other and they kissed then it went to another scene.

I think that was the point, honestly I don't think that would have played well for the tv show. The world they've built is already sad and dreary, it needs some hope in it.

Wonder how many people pirate it? There are many good things that many are not partaking

It’s a really good Children of Man series ;) but honestly I’m sure there are fans from says series or just fans of zombies and dystopian future

The crazy thing is probably lots of people pirated the episodes and the numbers are still insane.

My local provider who shows HBO content can barely do 1080p so I may have sailed the seas.
