I'm getting over the most painful flu I think I've ever had. I got a COVID test but may hear from them tomorrow. I hope it's COVID and I can just be done with it.

Negative on COVID! Been recovering and am going to spend a lot of this weekend writing.
Next review is already 20,000 words long and will probably be 50,000 when it's done. It's seriously going to be this four-hour long video and I've been working on it for months. This is so stupid, I'm so dumb for doing it, but it's gonna be so great when I'm done.

My old 720p DLP projector died last week, probably the bulp... $200 for a lamp to an 15 year old projector lol
Found a Benq W1000+ 1080p projector used with, what the seller presumed, a dead lamp for $50 and thought what the hell and bought it. After a thorough cleaning of the inside (full of dust) and it works flawlessly.

It's time to quit this job. This company or this dispatcher is getting ridiculous.
Was asked to move a few trailers to unload at a dock, but wait there is a line waiting for this dock to unload so that wasted time. Whatever.
Get my regular dispatch to go which will be almost 650 miles. Tonight. Probably looking at at least 11 to 12 hours just in driving not counting trailer switch or getting fuel.
I could try talking to the company, but I've discussed this with other drivers and they're not getting anywhere either. Just talked to another driving who's taking vacation time just to get away and fill out job applications.
Just deciding if I want to keep doing this "Outlaw" trucking for a while to bank before quitting. I'm debating whether to do this until the end of the month. Maybe I'll do 2 weeks notice.
I also think I have enough savings to be unemployed if I felt like it for 4 months.
Hmm.... stuff to ponder while I roll down the highway I guess.

Today PTI (Pardon The Interruption) has been on the air for 20 years. I’ve been watching/listening since the beginning. Crazy it has been that long I try to never miss an episode.
It is crazy. I don't watch it anymore (haven't for quite some time) but I was all about it in high school and college. Only good thing on ESPN during those times, that and Around The Horn.
Radio show I’m listening to got it wrong, Tony and Mike are starting their 20th year together today. tumorman I watched Around The Horn for awhile but got out of it. Started watching Highly Questionable about 6 years ago. The show I miss and loved from the early 2000’s was The Best Damn Sports Show Period. That show was a lot of fun.
I do like Dan Lebatard. Also big fan of Mina Kimes and Katie Nolan (top five celeb crush I'm not gonna lie)
I listen to The LeBatard Show every morning been probably about 5+ years. You are right on Kimes and Nolan. Heart them both.

At least this is mostly interstate highway driving, I get really sick of state routes with traffic lights. Doing this in the evening so hoping Atlanta isn't to horrible.
Talked to dispatch and might just finish out the week before quiting. Feeling burned out.
What sucks is driving a huge semitruck is kind of cool, but the work hours they dump on people is brutal.

I juts had to lay out some traps as I heard some tiny feet. I'm an animal lover and would catch them in a humane trap and release them very far away. Last year, into this year, I couldn't catch them that way. I tried all different kind of live catch traps. I switch to the teeth one and got four of them in a week. It sucked, but I tried to save them first. It was a last resort.
A friend of mine had a turtle as a kid but it grew (duh) and they tried to sell it but to no avail... His mother put it in the freezer.
How many people here keep friends on Facebook and what not so you can "hate follow" them? I have a few on my list I just love when they post so I can s*** all over them.

As of right now 706. Only a very small number of those people actually post on there. I'd delete it, but it's super convenient for organizing events.
Edit: BTW one of these people I keep on there is a founding institution to why we're all together 20 years later. Dude sucks ass and I'm not afraid to say it.

I mean, not too crazy lol. I'd say most are from high school or college. Don't wanna toot my own horn here, but I used to be pretty popular and still do have a lot of friends which is great.
