I went without electric for 8 days after a massive ice storm here...wasn't fun. No heat the entire time and couldn't get out for 6 of those days. I've felt some of your misery with the tree destruction and lack of electric.

How did you keep warm?

Had some Nashville hot chicken for dinner. Got the spicy level with 2 spicier levels higher than that. Usually get the medium heat, one level below.

Was not spicy at all while I ate it as I type this from the throne. The spicy level is just extra cayenne. The two levels after are ghost pepper and Carolina reaper.

but man, never felt my stomach be on fire and bloated after eating something that I did not find spicy. s*** sucks. Took some peptobismal hoping It stops the burning.

What restaurant? I do enjoy some spicy food although sometimes it's too hot to the point you can't even taste anything then there is no point. There is a Mongolian place I've been to (Hu-Hot not sure how big of a place it is) and I love their hottest sauce. It's nice and hot to where your eyes water and you can feel heat radiating off your head, but you still taste everything.

It's really nice for find a balance in flavor, not the stuff that is just hot to sting your tastebuds.

Or if it super hot like Buffalo Wings, but balanced with Bleu Cheese.

Or Cayenne on Cheesy Eggs.

I decided to give MS Edge a try as I notice how much memory Chrome used. I am surprised all the bookmarks and cookies carried over without me needing to do anything.

Edge used 50-60% of the memory resource of Chrome & faster.

Spent 2 hours listened to the CEO & his cronies tell us how "sorry" they are to have to lay off 30% of the workforce, which is higher than any competitors.

You still there?
It's Germany, so it takes at least 6 months to finish the layout as it goes back & fore with the union, but the results won't change much. To be clear 30% os worldwide, we have about 200K employees. My location is 12%.

If I am layoff, I wanted to focus on my game full time. Hopefully, it turns out well. & I can go permanently full time as a game dev. I am a good engineer ( & I am not being boastful) but I have other skills that never really get used, & making games, this allows me to express my art & creativity, writing & use my coding skills.Only issue is it doesn't pay, until I release the game, & only if it sells.

Anyway, while listening to the horrible presentation from the CEOs & cronies, from my home, I did 3 sketches. I theorise what my next game will be for fun. Combining traditional comic style & 3rd person rpg elements (lighting, fire, melee attacks). Unfortunately, I ran out of ink in the end.
Done with zero references & ink directly, inspired by Jim Lee

In a way it was a callback to my school days, where I would draw all over my textbook in when I was bored in class. I remembered my physic teacher saw my textbook, flip over them & shock his head how my textbook looked like graffiti.
