How much are you all paying for groceries each month?
I’m paying at least $600 per month between myself, two nephews, two dogs and two cats.

It is crazy, especially when you add in pet stuff. I have two big dogs, and I can easily drop $100 just picking up dog treats, not even their actual food.

It is just me and my wife and the dogs, and $300 a week isn't out of the question. My wife usually only makes a big trip every other week, but usually a small trip in between. She's super frugal (even more than me lol) and will shop around. Probably $500-700 a month. Granted we almost never go out anymore due to the cost.

It seems like one item might be cheaper, but two others go back up to max inflation prices. Every "deal" you find just gets taken over somewhere else.

For food for us, two kids, and my oldest son every other week we spend probably around $100 a week not including household items. When prices got bad we started going more store brand stuff and got away from expensive frozen foods, snacks, drinks. Saved us a good bit when you get away from the name brand stuff and cravings.

I started playing during the pandemic. And yeah, my wife and nephew were there to witness the shot. I couldn't even believe it.
I golf all spring, summer and fall...and do virtual golf at xGolf in the winters. Not a chance I will ever get a hole in one because I still am not good enough. If I do ever get a hole in one, it would be pure luck. Sure, I can land on the green on par 3s fine, but I just try to get it on the green. I don't actually try for the hole 🕳️ 😬

It is 99% luck for sure. I've gotten close a handful of times before. Too many variables outside of your control to hole out from anywhere outside of 25 yards (probably even less).

Sometimes I miss golf, sometimes not. Living up north, the season is just too short to bother with. It would take me a month or so to get my swing dialed in only for the season to end.

This was my experience most days. I was actually pretty good as a teen until I broke my shoulder playing hockey. After that, my swing was all janky. I used to be able to put the ball on the green and have it spin back and stay. After the injury, I could never hit a ball straight again.

Decided to setup a spare monitor as my third monitor. Spare monitor only has DVI. My 3080 won't accept a signal with the DVI to HDMI cable that I had, so after doing some research, I ordered a $35 adapter to push the signal through. Hope it works!

Edit: sigh I need a different kind of DVI cable. Will arrive tomorrow.

Edit 2: New DVI cable but still didn't work. Might be a crappy adapter, but I'm done throwing money and time at this old monitor. Now in the hunt for a cheap new 27" 1440p monitor.

It seems, every day, more people have lost their minds.

I have seen many people that follow/sub people/games/topics/stuff on social media/YouTube they hate, so they can post negative toxic, hateful things when there are new posts/videos from the things/people they hate...

THIS IS NOT NORMAL BEHAVIOR. People who do, need to seek help. If you enjoy encouraging & see joy in constantly posting toxic stuff, seek help.

Sure, I am not a fan of "American" football, & men wearing yoga pants, and running with a ball that isn't a ball, & occasionally cracking a joke about (just like people like to crack jokes about football /the one you can soccer)), but what I do not do, is a sub to NFL youtube to community and constantly posting negative things about the sport.

Life is short, do things you see fun, join the community of the things you enjoy. Don't go specifically looking for something/someone to be outraged.
