Okay, played Knack, BF4, Ghosts, and NFS. I only played each title for 20-30 minutes, so these are early impressions of course.
Knack: Very much enjoying it. If you like Crash and Spyro, you should enjoy this; if you think those games are boring, repetitive crap, I would stay away from Knack. It looks crisp; it is colorful; gameplay is tight; and it is difficult. Like, almost old school difficult. My wife was playing with me as Robo Knack, and the drop in/drop out co-op works great.
BF4: Most excellent. No 64 player servers were up, so I had to play 32 players. 60 fps makes a world of difference in this game. Night and day s*** from what console exclusive players were used to. It's awesome.
Ghosts: It's COD at 1080p. Played MP exclusively. Didn't experience any frames dropping, but I can't say there were any instances when a ton of s*** was going on, either. Day 1 patch is like 750mb--I guess that makes the SP 1080 or some stupid s***.
NFS: On the positive side, this is very much like Hot Pursuit when it comes to gameplay. It is open though, like Most Wanted. It appears to be a nice marriage. The problem with NFS is some f***ed up frame drops. It isn't even technically dropping frames, but it certainly looks like it. Check out DF's comparison. Some weird s*** going on in this game which makes it appear it is dropping frames. Definitely the most disappointing graphically because of the frame drops. It's 30 fps--give me a break. What's with this judder? It's junk.
I feel bad for those having network issues. I've been able to play everything online, no problem. Even NFS.
