I'm guessing they aren't showing the X1 version because it either needs more work than the other versions still OR because it's the "least" impressive looking version of the game simply because of the lower resolution. I'm sure it's going to be a great looking game no matter which platform you play it on but the fact is the X1 version will technically be inferior to the other versions even if only slightly.

If your speaking in comparisons between two/three versions of the same game, and one is slightly different than the others, how does inferior come into play? Here on Earth, many would call all three versions basically the same with negligible/minimal differences. I'm not so sure INFERIOR is the proper term here. Pretty sure Im still confused by your logic. You mind answering the question, or are you going to continue to insult because you dont have one?

Going by this dev quote:

The cdp dev from the german facebook page, wrote in the comments that the xbox one version looks virtually identical to the ps4 version and there should be footage before release.

I guess both versions are "inferior".

I didn't answer it because it's a stupid question and I didn't take it seriously. Being that they aren't all equal you are going to have one version which is the best (PC) another which is inferior to that version but superior to the other (PS4) and a third one which is inferior to the other two (X1). I like how your oversensitive nature latched onto the word inferior instead of the part where I said the game was going to look great no matter which platform people played it on.

One is 1080p and the other is 900p so one is superior to the other, it's not rocket science but I guess when dealing with people who have the mentality of an overly sensitive 12 year old girl things can seem complicated.

It wasnt a stupid question. It received an ignorant or ill informed response though. INFERIOR is the WRONG TERM, GENIUS!! Their virtually or essentially the same with minimal differences. Nothing INFERIOR about it. Dont try to sugar coat your typical fanboy rhetoric either. Looking at all three versions of the Witcher 3, they look VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL with minimal differences depending on the platform.

Wow, cancelling your preorder through Xbox support is quite an experience. It took me 45 minutes and I talked to six different people!!

Anyway, still hoping the game is awesome! I will be renting on day one and buying when it's on sale if it's good. This will also give me a chance to play through the witcher 2.

All three versions are essentially the same. In this case preference of platform will ultimately be the deciding factor seeing as all 3 versions of this particular game are virtually identical.

None of this proves how inferior or superior apply when all three versions are virtually identical. Why make it so bloody complicated?

33% doesnt equate to to what you are trying to communicate when compared with reality. C'mon, VaL....

1080p v 900p is what I would call slight, which is more accurate.

I saw on NeoGAF that there are apparently Xbox One streams, i am not registered on the forum so i didnt see the links, you need to quote the dude to see the link. That said, folks there say Xbox gamers have nothing to worry about and the same is said by gamers on the official Witcher 3 forum. I searched for some on Twitch, but nope.

You really are a lost cause, the post of mine that you originally responded to made clear that the game will look great no matter which platform it's on. Of course you and your fanboy way of thinking picked out the word inferior as being insulting and obviously took offense to it. Are you like this in your real life? have you ever been tested for some kind of mental disorder? Seriously how much more clear can I be? the PC version will be the best version (unless you are running it on lower than optimal specs) the PS4 version is higher res than the X1 version and therefor not identical to it. You can keep saying "virtually identical" all you want but that still doesn't mean that they are the same, they are in fact NOT the same.

Yeah no surprise there. I have been watching the X1 stream for the past 30 minutes. Virtually identical.
