Technically speaking, they are the same difference in difference. The difference between the difference of 900p vs 1080p and 1080 vs 1440p is the same difference between the difference of 1080p vs 1440p and 720p vs 1080p.

According to the mentality of mcmasters, my 2008 computer isn't inferior to a new, top of the line gaming computer. Even though pretty much everything it does isn't as good as the newer ones are capable of, it basically does the same thing as newer computers only slower, reduced resolutions, etc. I feel so much better knowing my PC isn't inferior to newer computers. Thank you mcmaster for showing me how to see everything differently and be able to deny the truth.

The gap there from 1080-1440p looks much further away than the 1080p-900p difference.
33% better is pretty noticeable as well.
But is spun here like its not.... that's because of the strong Xbox biased here @ the Union.
According to him the Xbox One is just as powerful if not more powerful then the PS4(quite a few here think this lolz)
The cloud and DX12 makes Xbox One beat gaming PC's as well!
No way inferior applies here unless your nitpicking small differences. Hypothetically speaking: Inferior would be the ps3 version of this game versus the ps4 version in which the ps3 version is clearly, undoubtedly inferior.
Now I'd agree with that. Same game but clearly a difference. PC, X1 and PS4 versions? Not so much. Again. No way inferior applies here.

PC version is pretty f***ing superior at anything beyond 1440p with all the effects and 60fps.
1080p max settings,high AA,High FPS and if need be down-sampling is more then enough and leagues better then these consoles.

I'm not very technical on these matters. But to my eyes 1080p to 1440p is more noticable.

One last thought. In my opinion, I think we all should be praising what these consoles are doing and how close they are to PC. I find it impressive myself.
Virtually identical between the three with slight differences in resolution. Honestly, with how slight the differences are between all three versions, complaining about res differences is just bitching just to bitch.

I think a big part of it is that jaggies are almost non existant at that rez. At least to me it appears that way.
1080p on PC just seems wrong.
To see this in real world situations doesn't equate to what you're implying. I just don't agree with you. Simple as that.
Never heard this type of talk till this gen here @ the union when Xbox One ended up with 720p and 900p versions.

1080p looks incredible with the right settings.Might be your TV settings?
1080p Max settings/60+ FPS for current games is still what many hope to achieve and fail unless they got a decent setup next step would be going higher in res or down-sampling.
And 1080p games as well. 720p is pretty much history at this point. What? Do you just acquire selective memory or is this an involuntary occurrence with you?
