The Witcher 4 - Project Polaris, First Of New Trilogy - 400 devs working on new game now

Just beat it for the first time finally after coming really close like 5 years ago lol. Game was f***ing awesome. Still need to go back and play the expansions once I get some extra time.
I put about 10 hours into it back on the XBOneX. Game was very impressive just overwhelming. I’d like to give it another go sometime.

Might as well wait for the Witcher 3 next-gen update if you haven't played it much.

Please don't be about Ciri and please don't switch to 1st person lol.

They are certainly announcing this way too early, but I hope they can stick the landing this time. I like that it seems we'll be playing a wholly new character, School of the Lynx I guess, so that's exciting.

We'll probably have to choose between playing this and the next Elder Scrolls at about the same time lol. I would be fine with more Geralt but going to a new school kind of eliminates the worry I had about Ciri being the main character.

Not a choice for me. Elder Scrolls sucks.

I suppose they're similar in setting and genre but the 2 games sort of scratch different itches for me. I think the potential of this "new saga" perhaps entirely divorced from the story of Geralt's adventures opens this up to a ton of possibilities so I'll be interested to see what this actually means.

After Cyberpunk's missteps, I'm very wary of ANYTHING CD Project announces or does. I'll remain skeptical until the game is released and in the hands of consumers.

Same. Interested in the potential of a "new saga" as I may be, I am also staying hesitant of all out excitement for it. I feel like announcing this early is already following in the footsteps of the mistakes they made marketing CP2077, so tbh they're not off to the best start with it, haha.

Oh I agree I was just joking because ES6 is still going to be many years away, it doesn't even sound like it's in true development yet.

Well I mean, this neither does this new Witcher game...

Wither 3 was announced in similar fashion.

Cyberpunk is a blip on an otherwise decent record. Them announcing it early had zero effect on how the game released.
