Official Thread Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 had a strong 2nd month after those stories came out. If it charts again I think those concerns are gone.

But they had to price cut it to have it hang around plus its not really that its bad so much as its bad compared to what it should be.

For what ever reason I just cannot get into this game like i did with TF1. I don't know what it is.....

Of the 8 matches I've played so far today, 5 of them were matches that had already started and at last 3 of them the team I was on was already down 125+ points in attrition which were of course losses.

f***ing annoying.

I hate that the party keeps getting broken up. Happens at least once a night now. The party leader will get into a match while the rest of the party will be stuck in the lobby.

If the party leader selects Find Game rather than Invite Network to start a game then the party will break up with only the leader getting into a game. Once you use Invite Network you just leave it alone and it will keep match making until the leader cancels it. Then you just start again.

That's f**king lame. The networking/party options in TF2 suck.

It's different. It's a new way of match making and I don't think it's needed at all. But once you get used to it at least your party won't be disconnecting.

Lolz.

The campaign in this game is a crazy amount of fun. Meant to just play the intro to the game last night, played the first 50 to 60% of the game!

Yeah the campaign is very good. Lots of cool parts in it.

I'm super late to the party, but this game is awesome. One of the most enjoyable campaigns I've done in a FPS in a long time, and multiplayer is a blast as well.

Yeah, the campaign is really wicked awesome, especially when you get about half way in, it really picks up. The MP is kick ass as well.

Today we are revealing our 6th DLC drop for Titanfall 2 called The War Games and it will be available for free for all platforms on June 27th! We’ll have the trailer for you at launch.
For now, let’s breakdown what you’re getting:
  • Map: War Games – Pilots on the Frontier frequently use simulator pods to train, using life-like recreations of historical battles as combat scenarios. War Games highlights the civilian shops, tall buildings for window-to-window fighting, and city streets for Titan combat from the Battle of Angel City, and the large, open tank garage facilities for hand-to-hand Pilot combat from the Battle of Airbase Sierra. The outskirts of the map feature a clean, VR style perfect for Titan duels, while Pilots are often found running along the bright, interconnected wallrunning routes.
  • Live Fire Map: Traffic –A weathered test site where pilot positioning is pitted against mobility across two busy thoroughfares. Dense cover makes every corner a threat, with room for snipers to hide in the back fields.
  • New Execution: Shadow Boxing [Holo Pilot]
  • 3rd Weapon Slot for Pilots – You will now be able to equip a primary, secondary, and anti-titan weapon.
  • Titan Brawl will be added to the permanent list of game modes. Titan damage will be displayed instead of assists.
  • New Featured Mode: Free Agents
  • Additional details for balance changes, features, and updates will be provided in the patch notes closer to launch.

Are people still playing this? I feel like i need some Titanfall 2 in my life, and now that the dust has settled it seems like a good time.

Imma pick it up (hopefully on the cheap) when I get me a One X.

Is this game just like TF1, for those who have played it?
