Is this game just like TF1, for those who have played it?
Nope, but it's great none the less. It's worth picking up for the SP campaign alone, MP is great too, and I despised the game after playing the beta.

Don't hate, don't hate, its unbecoming of you. Tragic, s*** is tragic.
Watched a cool video that lists the different reasons why this game isn't as big as it could be. There were a lot of reasons like releasing so close to Battlefield 1/Call of Duty and EA's unrealistic assumption that players would buy both EA games. Another reason which I didn't even think about was that EA didn't do a good enough job with marketing and letting the casual audience know that this was no longer a Xbox exclusive.
I picked this up a while back on sale. And while I only played through about half the campaign and a few multiplayer matches. The gunplay/movement/maps & Titans were a lot of fun. It really did bring back the fun I used to have with past old Call of Duty titles. Unfortunately for me I have the attention span of a fish and moved on. I really should go back at least for the campaign, boss battles were awesome.
Single player is great so far. I suck at multiplayer but it is fun.
I played Frontier Defense for a couple of hours today and its a lot of fun. The enemy strategies make for some fun battles where you have rushers as well as sniper/mortar teams that hang back. This means you'll have no choice but to get into the heart of the action.
Is that a horde type survival mode, or PvP?
Horde mode with Titans.
I thought I would check it out and play it for a few minutes. Instead I ended up playing it for like 2 hours straight.
Its a lot of fun and its a free update. I wish I knew about double XP this weekend I would have played more.
Yeah I'm a Scorch guy and he is great in this game mode.Dang! FRONTIER DEFENSE IS A LOT OF FUN! I played about 4-5 games of it and I really.like all the extra stuff they've added. I love that you can level up your titan across games and get access to different abilities that don't exist anywhere else in the game. I already have my Scorch throwing two shots from my primary before reloading. I also love that there are multiple difficulties.
Give it a try guys.
Also, it took me a while to realize this, but you can donate money to a team bank that your teammates can use if they are short on funds to buy that extra turret or battery.
Just tried out the horde mode and it's not bad. Only tried easy and even that gets hectic on wave 4/5, higher difficulties must descend into chaos.
Excellent.I should be back home tonight so we can spin up a game or two.
