Barely started playing but really enjoying the recruiting. I just don’t know why Ubisoft can’t figure out car physics

I turned the sensitivity down to 15 and the driving feels much better now, still not amazing but much easier to handle.

I should have this from gamefly in the next couple days but tbh I am much more interested in playing AC:V than this but don't know if I can get it back to gamefly in time for them to send valhalla so I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'm not dis-interested in watch dogs, it just wasn't really a "must have" for me.

Loved the first two and will definitely love this one. Just waiting until I get a charge/shipping notification for the PS5 before I actually purchase.

This is a really fun game. Its not GOTY material and it doesn't do anything new outside being able to recruit anyone in the game world. This is a stealth/infiltration mission based game and the missions can feel samey but once you increase your team roster with members with different skills/weapons things really open up. But be warned, its up to the player to be creative to be able to complete missions without going in guns blazing. I feel the missions are well designed but don't require the player to take a particular approach to encourage the use of different operatives. I think its because the missions can be completed in different ways and the developers left too much up to the player. I'm about 15 hours in so maybe later on there will be a mission that I'll need a specific skill set to complete.

Also, the Cargo Drone is OP and makes the game too easy. I use it but mostly to get tech points on high, difficult to reach areas of the map to unlock new gadgets and skills. Valhalla seems to be getting all the attention but Legion shouldn't be overlooked.

I do wish the cargo drone would go faster, it's almost painfully slow lol but I've been using it for the same thing you have.

I think its a good thing that the Cargo Drone is so slow because it puts a limit on it. I have used it for some sneaky escapes from missions. Like, in most missions you have to hack and/or retrieve something from deep inside enemy territory. I'll infiltrate using stealth and then hack a passing drone and land it in a lowkey area and make my way to it and then fly away. I just unlocked the hack for the Riot Drone and its a lot of fun swooping down and slaughtering everyone while I remain safely hidden behind a box somewhere.

I'm playing on X1X and have noticed some issues. The biggest issue I've come across is if I'm driving really fast the game stutters and pop-in takes root. I did some digging and between the PS4 Pro and X1X, Digital Foundry found that the Pro version performs the best while the X1X looks the best. So, if you want more graphical fidelity go with Xbox but if a more stable technical experience is preferred go with the Ps4 Pro version.

I'm hoping the XSX does away with the issues on X1X. I'll find out next week.

Yeah I am playing on PS4 Pro, I don't plan on getting a Series X until Fable comes out so I won't be buying anymore games for the One X, any game that has a next gen upgrade will be PS5 for me from now on.

To be honest I picked it up for Xbox because I wanted to see what the Nextgen upgrades would look like after seeing it on current gen.

Sadly, I wasn't able to secure a PS5 preorder. But since Spidey: Miles Morales also comes to PS4 my workhorse PS4 Pro is not done entertaining me. Not until I get its big brother.

Wasn't the whole selling point of the S was that it was for people who still game on 1080p TVs? I'm super confused how the game hitting the system's ntended target is a problem.

It's not even native 1080p, it's dynamic so less than 1080p. Not a good sign this early in the gen. You're buying a next-gen console to get not even full HD resolution. Doesn't help how poor optimization is for this game either.

The counter argument is that the early games are generally the ones with the worst resolution (remember 720/900 back at the start of last gen?).

I agree, buying these consoles aren't really smart imo, why buy the gimped xss and ps5 and get lower res and fps without RT when you could buy a xsx and get a future proof console.

I totally agree. I can't see any reason to get an XSS or PS5 for multiplatform games as a console gamer. Go all out with the XSX.

Why would I buy the xsx when all of its console exclusives can be played on my PC? If you are only into consoles then you may have a point and that's if you prefer MS exclusives.

That would be true but last gen we started with PS4 and Xbox one, there was no xbox one S with gimped specs. The true next gen consoles ps5 and xsx are both 1440p+ (dynamic 4k) at least for this game from what I've been reading.

Specs of said pc?

Also, fixed

The true next-gen consoles last gen at launch had a 720p v 900p faceoff e.g https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-battlefield-4-next-gen-face-off). That wouldn't have changed if MS has also released an Xbox one-half targeting 480p holdovers. As the generation went on, the base resolutions and framerates improved as developers got more familiar with the platforms.

BenQ XL2720z 144hz, 9700k, 32gb DDR4-3000, GTX 1080ti, 500GB Western Digital Blue 3D NAND M.2 for Win 10 Pro OS, Kingston Digital 480GB SSD x 2 for games and a 4TB for backup/storage.

Yes, and if MS also released an Xbox One S at the time, this would be equal to being dynamic 540p or 480p at the time. Hell, PS4 uses a dynamic 1080p resolution with the highest native resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 1564x880. So a last gen console is doing the same as a next-gen one. You are okay with that? Buying a next-gen console that is sub native of what last gen consoles are able to do now. Just like how Xbox One and PS4 targeted 1080p last gen, this gen PS5 and XSX are targeting 4K.

BF4 did not reach 1080p from that article you quoted for the PS4 and Xbox One just like how XSX and PS5 did not reach 4K for this title.
