X1 outselling PS4 in consoles and software in the week ending Dec 7th by a score of 163,000 to 103,000. You know which site I'm talking about. The one Valliance brings up all the time about 360/PS3 sales.

Key notable games not showing up in the top 75 best selling game list: Ryse, Knack, Killzone: SF.

Yeah X1 is going to outsell it since anyone who wants an xbone can buy one, it will be interesting when Sony can do the same.

US is only one of many markets these consoles are launching in. Initial sales all come down to supply chain in these cases so they mean nothing. Besides, who cares- would it be so bad if we picked up the new gen where the last left off, with Microsoft and Sony pretty much sharing the top and Nintendo being an formidable alternative. Wars are stupid and benefit gamers in absolutely no way.

The NFL waged a game war one time. It was only a bidding war over a single title, not a strangle hold on the entire industry, just a sliver of the sports gaming market. Madden won that war, and without competition, the ability to stay stale. Gamers lost.

A console war would end a lot more than a genre. We have seen Sony's reluctance to embrace online gaming and social connectivity and we have seen Microsoft try to strong arm its DRM and 'always on' functionality down our throats. Without competition there are no choices and that means gamers loose. Plain and simple.

Put down your arms are embrace your fellow gamers. If you want to wage a war, do it against micro-transactions.

Good points, but Nintendo was #1 last gen.

I'm sorry, but I doubt their butts have gotten more accurate this generation and that's where all of their numbers come from.

It may not be reliable eh (thread title) but that didn't curb your urge to post it still just because it was showing the x1 with its weekly butt 60,000 in front.

Wouldn't surprise me if true...but if your inspiration for this thread was 'that site which shall not be named'....then this needs to be closed. 'They' literally make up their figures out of thin air. Not even worthy of discussion.

Well just above that chart it has XBox One at 1.8M so yeah still an unreliable s***ty site.

Is this a vgleaks thread? You know they make their numbers up, right? Or are you that desperate to make another inaccurate numbers PR spin?

More fail from Untell
Out of all the posters on this forum, I'm surprised you're disappointed. You've been constantly backing up 360 vs PS3 battles using that site but for X1 vs PS4 it's no good? Make up your mind. lol

Anyone using vgleaks is proving they don't know what they're talking about. Not that there hasn't already been plentiful evidence of that from "intellivision".

Meaning people think the PS4 is not worth $400 but people believe Xbox One is worth the $500?

No, meaning that there simply hasn't been as many PS4 shipments out to stores. Both consoles are selling well, regardless of price....it's just a matter of getting enough supply to match the demand.

But I read that Sony is actually shipping more than MS. So it is a bit of a conundrum.

But they've been shipping primarily to Europe and now I guess to Asia, so even if they're shipping more cumulatively, it may very well be that less are coming to NA.

it might sound crazy but I think also having that NFL fantasy FOOTBALL might tip the favor to MS. You know how many people in the US use fantasy football?
Its a league of its own and to see this on xbox one is pretty crazy.

This is true, but I don't think the average hardcore Fantasy Footballer is going to shell out $500 (or $400 for that matter) just to get some TV integration. Though I think if someone who is a hardcore Fantasy fan is already considering getting an X1, then this could very well push them over the edge.

Yeah, more of an edge pusher than a top priority. The NFL season only lasts about half a year anyway. But for bog NFL fans, this app can give them content to keep abreast of the action as the app will be active all year. The NFL always has off season news so even just some ho-hum news during the off season will still be content.

true but those are hardcore and most of them are gamers too.

If we are gonna debate made up on the spot numberz by some internet crackpot, we should talk about numbers that people like me or consolewarz came up with. I am gonna throw some made up on the spot numbers right now.
