Over here it is kill me now hot. We are not used to that heat.
Never really needed it. A good summer was like 70F for a few days.
Yeah where I am, it doesn't make sense to invest in a ton of A/C. I have a couple small window ones. We might hit 90 once or twice. We just suffer through it. I don't have any of the ductwork for A/C, so it would cost thousands of dollars. We hit 90 one day this summer and just suffer through it. I put all my money into my snowblower for when we get 6 feet.
Anyway, this weekend will be tons of Starfield. Probably a little Destiny 2, as this season is actually good, although it will probably be mostly Starfield.

There was Steam discount for 75% off the Resident evil 3 remake, so I bought it for a low 9,99€.
In name of science, I went to Nexus mod & download a few popular mods., like Jill Bikini, Bad cop outfit. For science of course.
In this late summer heat, I figure my gaming char should reflect on how I feel, hence make sense to go with outfits,to deal with the curent heat. Immersion!!!

You can usually get RE2 & 3 remake bundle on Xbox or PS for like 12 quid.
Good games. Played them both on the PS5 this summer, had bought from PS sale which was like $17 or something for the bundle. Had a great time !
I managed to beat resident evil 3 in weekend. 13 hours in total. Mostly due to backtracking and restart due to make sure I conserve ammo and heals.
I miss a few shots, i restart, ans got bit by zombie, I restart. Haha. I kill a group of mobs, run back to save.
When you play survival game, it’s important to conserve loot, because you don’t know when you hit a spike and out of resource and impossible to progress.
I had a few games where I hit a wall due to lack of ammo or health like in metro. The game auto save me in a bad situation without health and ammo with mobs all round. I had to uninstall game .
But to be fair, they improved this so that you can gain ammo and heals during major boss fights.
I conserved so much heals and explosive rounds that the final boss fight was cakewalk.

Planned to play EA FC 24 trial this weekend, but played 2 games and uninstalled it. Atrocious game.

Another weekend of Starfield. I'm still really enjoying the game. I feel like I still have so much to go, but I think I will at least be through the main and all the faction quests soon, so sort of "done". Usually I hit a wall with these games, but I'm still having a ton of fun. The quests really open up and there are some really good missions. I love how random things I did early on can show up now. I think I'm level 29, so this is a game I'll be nibbling at for a long time still.
I picked up Jagged Alliance 3 on sale on Steam and might play that. I love the old turn based Xcom type games. I'm really just waiting for Forza to launch next week. I may not want to jump into that right now. I really want to restart Cyberpunk, but don't think I will with Forza coming out. Forza will be the perfect break from Starfield.
I have been dipping into Diablo 4 at times. The XP gains feel a lot better now. I just want my character to be high enough level to play the next DLC that launches. Game is still good for some mindless fun.
Hockey season is starting up and of course football is in full swing, so mostly just playing the game of "see how many potato chips I can leave in the bag to trick myself into believing I didn't just eat the whole bag".
