Just watched the season finale of Legion. Season 1 was great! If you have not watched this, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Divorce: holy f***. Talk about a heavy, hard to watch show. Sarah Jessica Parker's best acting, and Molly Shannon is stellar.
So many of the scenes hit close to home, except I generally only long term date people that already loathe. Like being afraid to go to dinner with just the two of you, because you think theyre stupid with idiotic views. And that moment when your heart sinks when you realise they're already home as you pull into the driveway...

Sitting with a glass of champagne in my hand, I realised that I'd been holding my breath for at least 30 seconds while watching the last episode of Big Little Lies. Wow. I would have been clutching my pearls if I had the forethought to put them on.
I did not see that coming. Stellar performances from everyone involved. Nicole Kidman is simply amazing.

This show is spectacular. One of the first shows in a long time I have tuned into "live" to watch out of sheer anticipation.
The strange thing is that there is a lot of "standing still" in terms of real world progress. So much takes place in alternate realities where the real world is essentially oblivious to these ethereal battles of telepathic giants. David's character is so complex and the main actor does a tremendous job of oscillating between malevolent demigod and neurotic dork.
I really liked it, but I couldn't help but roll my eyes at times...

I watched iron fist between episodes 7 and 8, and I almost turned it off as soon as a mental institution was brought in.
After reading up on wiki about David, I get why the show is the way it is, but artwank is still artwank to me.
Still, I liked the show. I don't really get why they blurred the visual era's though.
Yes, you are right, but it didn't bother me too much. It is a tough challenge to show the inner turmoil and the type of anguish inflicted by the main antagonist without coming off heavy handed.
13 Reasons Why: On netflix, 2 Episodes in and I really like it. It's like a modern take on a retrospective Veronica Mars, combined with the amazing book "Love Letters to the Dead"

I just watched 3 more episodes, and this poor girl is a magnet for arseholes. I thought after the second EP that she may be making it all up.
Edit* So, I just did a marathon of all 13 hours, and it turns out the show about teen suicide isn't as funny as I was expecting. My mother was in tears through the last episode.
Also, kinda cute, is the startup animations. They all relate to the characters.

I finished Better Call Saul season 2. Great show I can't wait for season 3 to start. It's crazy how different this show is at times from Breaking Bad and still just as good.
Now I'm starting Luther on Netflix. I've never seen it but heard good things.

Watched the new documentary that aired recently on A&E called L.A. Burning: The Riots 25 Years Later. It is a look at the bad, ugly, and some people that did some good during and after the riots (after the Rodney King beating verdict). Crazy s***.
I'm not a guy to binge watch a TV show, even the ones I followed I always kept my one episode at a time policy.

Watched the first episode of the new season of Fargo. It was decent. Hopefully it picks up it was not on the level of the greatness of the first two seasons.
Idk why I felt the way I did while watching. I was pretty tired that night maybe that's why.

No doubt, last week's episode is an example of why the slow burn is worth the payoff.
I have not felt like any episode was slow and was ready for something to happen. The acting and characters are just so damn good. Keeps me glued.
