I’ve heard season 2 is tough to get through then season 3 gets back on track and is really good. My backlog is yuge I’m years behind on a lot of shows I wanted to watch or finish.

This is a weird anime about a long time gamer who's MMORPG is being shutdown. They hangout playing until the scheduled server shutdown time, but instead of being booted wake up as their character avatar and guild base in a different world.
They decide to venture out and look for player characters. It has a lot of RPG based humor. Unlike many stories, this character starts of the show not having to learn skills, but it a Level 100 Elder Lich that casually massacres NPCs while he tests his abilities ytand magic in this world to see how the mechanics work. A lot of low level people just get slaughtered.
Downloaded the free version of Peacock last night and watched the first episode of Yellowstone due to my love of Taylor Sheridan. That episode was like a full movie lol. Think I'm gonna pay five bucks and go ahead and binge the first two seasons.

Finished season 1 of Yellowstone. Kinda soap opera-ish, but I definitely dug it overall. From what I've heard they moved away from that part of it and it turns better season 2, looking forward to it.
Needed to show more of the chess moves and educate the audience further. Also, using a black character in such a way was completely and absolutely shameless.
Unfortunately, it's not known if production will continue to make a season 4 yet. It would really suck to leave the story hanging here.
The show has a strange plot structure where the main character is extremely overpowered it's laughable. He oversees his old guild base and in Season 3 decides to expand conquering nearby kingdoms. It is deliberately the opposite of a typical plot where instead of the low skill Hero beginning quests, the main character is a Max Level RPG Dungeon Boss Elder Lich.
It's amusing I guess in that it reminds me of when I used to dabble in MMORPGs. The main character is a human trapped in this fantasy RPG world as his character avatar and his real main goal is to see if other players are in this game world like him. Yet while amassing power and influence, he tramples over so many NPCs.
When I first read the description I thought it sounded to silly. It is silly, but peppered with enough cool moments to balance it such as the White Blood Cells murdering the Bacteria that look like goofy Power Rangers monsters. The Killer T Cells are depicted as MPs.
To the show's credit, as crazy as the depictions of cells are, the show is full of science backed reasons for their actions and they way they organize.
I suppose the timing of watching this during a Pandemic just kind of fits and makes it more satisfying to watch the germs get murdered by immune defenses.
