Keep up with it. It's a bit ridiculous, but it's a fast watch for sure.Ok not far in to first episode but really like The Boys, especially Simon Pegg sitting down on a couch and doing an American accent.
I'm sold.
Reminds me of a British show though, can't remember the name of it.

The Rehearsal episode 2 was great, need to peep be third now that I'm back in town
Series is entertaining as hell stick with it. One of my favorite shows airing right now.Hey, it's kinda f'd up, but right up my alley. Plus they're doing satire on the superhero thing....it's been done before, but it's fun so far. I like it and will keep watching.
Obviously filmed in Toronto (Headquarters is Roy Thomson Hall with a skyscraper stuck on top lol. sorry, funny to see places you've known forever pretending to be NYC)
Yeah I really liked that show overall, a pleasant watch for sure.In a few episodes into The Good Place.
It's like comedy with religion and existentialism. Low key poking at Philosophy and has a very balanced use of absurdity with TV budget FX. Great cast to.
Got my parents watching Breaking Bad. Its been funny my dad calling me talking about the show “Walter just made his biggest drug deal!”
My sister got them watching Ozark when it aired, I told them they needed to watch the OG show. Hell I still haven’t got around to watching Ozark.
I finished the 6 episodes of We Own This City on HBO. Not sure if I'd recommend it or not. Done by some of the same people involved in the Wire.
In one way, everyone should watch it to see how terrible a police force can be. It is based on a true story (not sure exactly how true it stays, but it keeps real names. It takes place over years and annoyingly skips around, but eventually paints a picture of just how bad things got (still are?) in one of America's largest cities. It seems to not decide if it is a documentary or a show, and sometimes falls into the Wire trap of going into the boring nitty gritty of police work.
Again not sure if I'd recommend it or not. I was invested through the whole thing (each episode is a full hour even though there are only 6).
And when he's done he can watch Better Call Saul. You are a good son.
My dad won't watch anything I recommend. My mom will literally turn off anything that has a single swear word in it haha.
I’ll be glad when that finally comes to its home at Paramount+ one day so we can watch it.Yellowstone season 2 - Good. Can't believe Rip is the bounty hunter from Pitch Black movie.
It is pretty good. It is kind of like a modern Game of Thrones.I’ll be glad when that finally comes to its home at Paramount+ one day so we can watch it.
Really!House of the Dragon... good stuff, I have no expectations so that helps.
Whoever recommended "We Own This City" to me thank you very much! It's good. Very much like "The Wire"
