Worst game you ever bought?

LOL. The only game after fallout I seen with less color in recent memory is the black & white XBLA game which I forgotten the name.

Its a nuclear wasteland.

Wish fallout 4 would get announced and show already

Gears of War was the worst game I ever bought. I had hyped myself up so much for this game and when I first played multiplayer, I couldn't believe what was lacking as basic features of multiplayer such as a party system and matchmaking.

Then the horrid random slot machine shotgun that would literally have random damage outputs that were not consistent at all. CliffyB and company ignored it, and later finally admitted it was random when they were discussing the gameplay changes in Gears of War 2.

The lancer never registered every single bullet, many were missing due to the crappy netcode. The hammerburst was the same way, a three-shot burst that rarely ever actually registered three shots per shot fired.

Gears of War was the most garbage game I had ever bought, so bad that I literally broke my disc in half.

The worst I have bought is probably a tough one...either Haze or Bulletstorm.

I agree that Two Worlds was pretty bad. Still, I enjoyed it enough to play for about 40 hours. I think my expectations were really low, and I was hungry for an RPG. Also, I seemed to enjoy the badness, rather than find it frustrating.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel was the worst game I've played in recent memory. I knew it was bad going in, but I really had no idea how obnoxious it would be. It wasn't the gameplay that killed it for me -- granted, that was pretty dull -- it was the "tough guy" characters and the stupid things they kept saying. I couldn't find any enjoyment in the game at all. They tried to make it "gritty and realistic," but it was just awful, almost like a parody, except not funny.

hard to say, but the one that stunk out immediately when I saw the title was Far Cry 2 on the 360.

.... are you talking about Limbo?! C'mon now  bit of an exaggeration.
Yes, limbo. Its not mean to be serious.
Anyway, lack of colors is not the main reason for me not able to get into the game, but it played a part. I never said its a bad game, I said I cannot get into the game. Its not that I have not tried, I clocked 13 or so hours into the game.

What!! i thought it was decent qq
The humor in that game was good. I still remember Karin cooked something for Asuma and it looked so horrible that they censored it with pixelation.

The worst game I've ever purchased was Dark Sector. That was awful! Nothing feels worse than buying that game even at a discount.

I tried with Enchanted Arms, I really tried. But 7 hours in, I couldn't take it anymore. Story felt like it was going nowhere and the characters were cliche and unrelatable. More power to you guys for actually finishing it. It remains one of the few games I've ever returned within 30 days.

For me with Jrpgs, I couldn't get into Eternal Sonata, but I'd give that game another chance if I find a used copy at my local game shop.

The most recent I can think of Last of Us. *flame shield up* Although now that MW mentions Brink, that is another one I would add to the list. Looking back at my list of 360 games, Resonance of Fate would also be up there.

Two Worlds 1 on day one. Ugh, the framerate, bugs, voice acting and controls were crap. I recall thinking that the reviews were off before buying and I'd enjoy the game. Boy were the reviews right. It was the worst day one purchase I ever made.

For me, Tiger Woods '07 PS3 probably. Totally broken, froze up every 15 minutes (requiring a hard reset), broken multiplayer, crap graphics...

There have been a few that have come close since; Sonic Unleashed (I returned it a day later), Bionic Commando (the crappy remake), Thor: God of Thunder.

Game made no damn sense.

Star Fox Command comes to mind. I played it for five minutes the day it came out and never again. I hated it.

Full Spectrum Warrior.

When I read all the hype and that it was a "tactical shooter" I didn't realize that meant it was a f***ing RTS. Seriously, bought the game the week it came out at $50 or whatever, thought it was a 1st or 3rd person shooter that was tactical as in "serious stuff" not "move soldiers here, do this do that" I was like why can't I f***ing shoot my gun and kill people from my point of view!!! arghghgh
